I had a friend whom i met just 2 months ago. We became so close that we used to share all our problems with each other. but for the past few days our peers are insisting that we have sumthing more than friendship. Can this be true as none of us can see the other as a life partner...

I met what you'd describe as quite a 'pushy' person whilst I was temping about 2 years ago. We both still temp, but never in the same workplace (apart from when I met her 2 years ago).

We keep in touch by email, texts and the odd ansaphone message (as we live far from each other). I've been out with her 3 times in 2 years, but it's very hard to meet up as we sometimes can't always agree on a date/time (as we may have other committments). She asked me to meet up next week to see a show, but I can't make it for then. The latest is she left a message on my mobile saying, "I really can't see why we can't meet up now and again instead of just doing these silly little emails, texts and messages".

She has a pushy personality and when I do meet up with her the whole conversation is about her and she interrupts when I talk. I really don't think there's anything wrong with communicating in this way (as mentioned above). What do you think?

I once asked my dad if he ever cheated on my mom and he said yes (they are still married). I seriously thought my mom knew because of conversations we had had in the past. I spoke with her tonight and brought it up to my mom in conversation thinking she knew about it. Only to my surprise did I find out that my mother never knew about my father’s unfaithfulness years ago… but instead had only suspected --- or as she said been in denial. Now I feel like sh*t for unintentionally revealing that "secret" to my mother. I SERIOUSLY thought she knew. What should I do or say, or should I just drop the subject??

I've been trying to leave my husband now actively for the last 4 years. Everytime I try it turns into a huge deal even though I know he loves someone else, as do I. I've tried to get him to admitt that the relationship is over and he will to a certain extent but he is clinging to this like divorce will destroy the family. Background; we've been together on and off for 12 years, have 4 kids but recently started living together even though we got married 6 years ago. It hasn't been all bad but. But when it is bad it's horrible the way things go down. Also, he's been messing around with the same female for damn near 7 years, even though she's married also now. All I want is to be free but he won't let go even to be with this other chick, which I could care less about, I just want to be left alone. I've even cheated and told him I'd never be faithful to him again, but still he insists the family remain intact. The past has been nothing but drama filled. What can I do or am I wrong?

I about a month ago I slept with a guy at work. This occured a couple of times before we had a talk and realised we both wanted different things - he just wanted casual sex and I wanted something more significant. As a result we became friends, no longer sleeping together but hanging out at work and going for drinks ocassionally. Over time I found myself falling for this guy but I had to frustratingly keep it to myself because I knew he wasn't interested. In his words he had told me "he didn't like me in that way". Now I am not stupid, I realised he was just in it for the sex. But then last weekend I attended a party where several people that we had both worked with told me that "he was totally in love with me". So as you can imagine, now I am very confused. I want to believe that he feels the same way because obviously that is what I want, but logic tells me that if he really liked me he wouldn't have said otherwise.....Anyone know what is going on here?

ok..so my best friend is married. Its been over a year and she still cant have sex. Its physically (and maybe mentally) impossible for her. The doctors have diagnosed it as Vagimisma (im not sure if im spelling that right). I know this is very hard for her and her husband to deal with. They can still be intimate and show their affection in other ways obviously. But lately, shes been catching him looking at porn sites very frequently and this upsets her. Shes talked to him about it before...it makes her feel that she isnt enough for him...she has told him that he needs to come to her when he needs anything at all..and not resort to that. He told her he understood and promised to quit. I mean..anyone who loved u..would understand and be there for u through this prob..and also love u regardless..right? well he promised her, but he still does it...and then hides it from her. Ppl (men) tell me that if they were in his place..they would cheat on her. But hes not the victim. What do u think?

The guy you had your eyes on for a while, who made your heart pump faster everytime he was near, gave you goosebumps when he smiled at you, whom you thought didn't think you existed, and whom you thought you were never going to get? What was your reaction when he revealed that he liked you for a while too?

Is it wrong to spank your child? Even if your child acted like one of those girls on maury povich show? What if your child call you out your name, spit in your face, or even hit you? No that children can call 911 and say child abuse and you get arrested and the state take your child. then would you be mad an still spank them if they get out?

As for myself I was raised getting spanked. If I did something wrong I was warned then if I did it again I got spanked. I have learned my lesson. So what would you do?

Doctor says I should remove the packing but it is very painful. Should I pull it out slow or fast or let my boyfriend do it. I just want to get it over with and I am so nervous.

Hi everyone,

I'm going to ask my girlfriend to marry me. I couldn't be happier.

But, there's the ring question. I'm a software entrepreneur. Sometimes I make money, sometimes I lose it. This year I'll probably lose about $250K. It turns out that jewlers won't pay you $40K to take a ring from them.

Luckily last year, I killed myself and made plenty of money. But, I have no idea what to spend. My girlfriend and I love each other and she'd be happy if I got her a toy plastic ring: We're very modest folks. But, my theory isn't that the ring matters to much to her, it's more of a signal to her friends. So, I figure I should get something nice.

If I wanted, I could drop half a million on the ring and not sweat it. But that would be plainly absurd. If we're traveling, I'd worry someone would cut of her finger. But I don't want to do something cheap either.

So, dear answerers, what do you think is reasonable? No sweet "whatever would make you happy" answers please. Thanks.

I would like to interview people/families that would like to live there to screen out rapists, murderers, druggies, etc., so that we would have a safe environment to live/raise families in. Religion, race and financial standings would not be an issue.

Your recommendations for making this a possibility would be appreciated concerning location, types of businesses, must-have issues (school, grocery store...ect.) and your opinion on if you would like to live/raise a family in this type of environment.
