I would like to interview people/families that would like to live there to screen out rapists, murderers, druggies, etc., so that we would have a safe environment to live/raise families in. Religion, race and financial standings would not be an issue.
Your recommendations for making this a possibility would be appreciated concerning location, types of businesses, must-have issues (school, grocery store...ect.) and your opinion on if you would like to live/raise a family in this type of environment.

sounds a perfect place to raise a family. Ok, we need to have church, hospital, local police outpost, mall, daycare center & park. There should be lots of trees, good roads & transportation accessibility.:)

Great if I can live there WITH YOU! Seriously though,I already live in that type of place! It's called Monroe County,in southeast Ohio near Marietta & the Ohio River. Our county has only 15,000 people & the county seat of Woodsfield,Ohio has only 2800 people! I live on & own an 80 acre farm of steep hills & trees & it is quite safe & peaceful here. I also have an oil well from which I get FREE GAS to heat & cook with! It's all paid for & I am pretty daggone happy! But,I have been livin' alone for 26 years & really do need a nice little honest & affectionate woman to round my world out.
Good luck with your 'Dream Mayberry'!

Yes,I would love to live in a town like that. But would you allow Blacks? Because you know Mayberry didn't have any Blacks, not a one.Why is that? Never saw any on "I Love Lucy" either and I love both of the shows even though I'm Black, just wondering that's all.

That is tough call, because to do such things you discriminate against people that just maybe have change their way. I live in small town where allot of the druggies, and molesters, rapist, are deposited by the county court system, I believe that we as people need to look after one another better and see that these types are kept in check. We are responsible for what happens in our communities, and to say your not welcome because of who you are is just as wrong as what they do.

i would move there but unless I will make a profit off of any of my ideas you are asking for you can forget that. Why do you ask other people whom you're not even going to pay for their expertise? In the end you become a billionair off of your 1940's set city and all of the suckers who did all of your work for you will be eating beans if they are lucky.

Nuh not with you. You would look down on all of us mere mortals as if you were God and screen us all out." Go away from my windows, Leave at your own chosen speed, I'm not the one you want babe, I'm not the one you need. Some one to open each and every door. It ain't me babe, no, no, no, it ain't me babe, it ain't me your looking for, babe.

Canada has lots of land that is unoccupied and they are looking for more people to move to Canada since it is under populated.
