how do i get my 13 year old son to respect his mother more she goes to work upset at the way he reacts when he is asked to do something but doesnt do it nearly as much to me.he raises his voice bangs his hands on the table,hes a good kid good grades plenty of friends and hes a happy child but he seems to have a problem with authority from his mum.

If I go to London.... he will do stupid stuff like start drinking, cutting his hand, smoking, and all because of me!!!!! I feel like just commiting a suicide!!!

The idea came from me telepathically doing a few questions to my parents, and the question of my race came to mind.

Later, I was shaky as to what race(s) I was, so I was talking to mom and told her, "I'm unique-looking!" She nodded. Then I said, "It's because you're mixed Chinese-Korean and dad's mixed Japanese-Korean..." I smiled, and my mom nodded, saying "Yes.".

Then I said, "I'm mixed?" And then she told me, "No."

Throughout my life, I've noticed weird things about my parents. They raised me to be Korean, but, for instance, my dad never talks much about his deceased mother, though he mentions his deceased father at times.

I don't get it. Am I mixed races, or am I getting it all wrong?

I'm thinking of changing my surname. Do you think that its wrong to change one's family name?

I'm thinking of changing it for 2 reasons mainly.

The 1st reason is that I have never really liked my surname, probably because it sounds very funny, and many people find it hard to pronounce. It was also the source of a lot of teasing and buyllying from other kids during my school days.

The 2nd reason is because for a long time now I have been out of contact with my family. They were never really there for me while I was growing up, and we don't have much of a relationship. I hardly speak to any of my brothers, sisters or step-sisters. In fact I don't speak to anyone that shares my family name.

While I was homeless and living rough for a couple of years I had no contact with any of them.

Everyone in my family hates each other, and there is not much love there. I believe that if I change my surname it could be a new start for me, like a new chapter in my life.

should I?

Ok I've asked this just seconds earlier but i didn't go into enough detail. I'm 17 and she's 13. This is all her mom sees and she dosnt want me to even speak to her daughter. I will be turning 18 in 5 months and i know that this can cause some major problems. How can I still be with her when her mom doesn't like me, yet she dosn't know much about me??? I got my daughter who turned 11 an ipod nano. I figure I will get him one of these next year. I don't want toget him anymore games now because I will probably be getting them a Wii for christmas. I was thinking about spending a 100 bucks on ebay and getting him a descent camera. His sister got one two years ago, and I think he would like one. But it is not exactly a 10 year old boy gift.

He crys everyday about 2 or 3 things - all when he does not get his way, all stupid things, like having to drink milk at dinner or not sitting next to his mother if his sister is, or wearing shorts instead of pants, it is ridiculous.

ok i'm 21and i like this 15 yr old girl she will be 16 in 3 months
ok i really like her and she likes me i am totally inexperienced when it comes to relationships mainly because i never met anyone that i wanted to have one with, don't get me wrong i'm not trying to blow my own horn but i can get chicks my own age but they don't really interest me because there attitude towards life is not what this girls is
i rarely go out drinking and clubbing
but let me put this forward that i genuinly like her and am not interested in having sex with her at least until she is old enough to make her own mind up even if that is way beyond the legal age of 16 here i just want to be with her and have fun with her

so i guess my question is is there anything wrong with that?or what should i do

p.s. this is really waying heavily on my mind i like her so much to be away from her is unbearable sadness but i just feel like this is wrong and it is hard for me to make a decision either way
