The idea came from me telepathically doing a few questions to my parents, and the question of my race came to mind.

Later, I was shaky as to what race(s) I was, so I was talking to mom and told her, "I'm unique-looking!" She nodded. Then I said, "It's because you're mixed Chinese-Korean and dad's mixed Japanese-Korean..." I smiled, and my mom nodded, saying "Yes.".

Then I said, "I'm mixed?" And then she told me, "No."

Throughout my life, I've noticed weird things about my parents. They raised me to be Korean, but, for instance, my dad never talks much about his deceased mother, though he mentions his deceased father at times.

I don't get it. Am I mixed races, or am I getting it all wrong?

From what you say you are more Korean than Chinese or Japanese, as you have been raised Korean. Your mixed Chinese-Korean, but did your mother every say if she was of mixed blood? Yet she told you that you and your father were but she didnt elaborate as to whether or not she was.
I really dont understand why you are worried, and I dont understand the significance of how your father speaks or doesnt speak of his parents who are deceased.
You are unique there is no one like you. If you are fromThree different cultures (Chinese, Japanese, and Korean) this makes your body unique, the way you look, however your thoughts, your soul and your actions make you who you are.

Maybe because you're ASIAN on all sides. I wouldn't consider that "mixed race". It would be like I'm Irish Caucasian and my husband is Italian Caucasian. We're not "mixed", both white and from different parts of the country. So it sounds with you. Asians from different countries. No biggie. Godloveya!

You're more mixed cultures than mixed race, you are Asian but different Asian countries..... it's like me saying I'm mixed because one of my parents is french and the other one is Irish, they're both European or White, so I would have mixed culture but not race.

what does it matter.

be proud of who you are. be proud of your parents. and be a good person. it does not matter if you are mixed or not. by the way: many people are :-) americans are a nation of mixes :-)) there are english people, irish, asian, european.. like french, swiss, then russians etc.

so what does it matter? america to me is a nation of a really big mix. be proud of who you are and never care if another person is mixed or not. it matters only if they have good values and are good persons.

take care
