WOW. WTF? Some of you people are rather quick to jump to conclusions. I don't even have kids, much less disrespectful one that really need disipline.
I am writng a creative essay for class about a child-friendly back seat that has the gadgets to deal with every problem you have with kids in cars.
I just wanted to get some ideas, not discriminating insults. Chill the F*** out.

Don't listen to the Stepford parents with perfect children. Here's some advice from a real parent with 2 rowdy boys. They have books (reading as well as puzzle), we play games like I Spy, license plate poker, 20 questions etc... and when everything else is exhausted we use the parents personal favorite, the portable DVD player! Best investment we made. We feel that this is OK considering that our children are only allowed to watch TV/Movies on the weekends as long as they've done their weekly chores.

A well disciplined and behaved child will do very nicely to protect the back seat of the car. Their mind will entertain them if you allow and require it--maybe a book or games on long trips.

i have 3 boys, they always travel on the back seat, this is the first time i see someone is worried about kids destroying a back seat in car or having to entertain them. they can watch out of a window - this can be their entertainment, and u might consider just telling them stop destroying your car, but honestly, first time in my life i see this kind of question

sounds like you need to teach your children respect... if they destroy the back seat then don't take them out anywhere till they learn or worse yet here goes.... try being a parent and take control...
