My oldest brother was like a father to me until back in 94 when he punched and kicked me in the face 22 times for not calling my mom to wish her happy new year. I got married this year, and he did something worse. He was like the phantom menace and tried his best to destroy my reputation to my now parents-in-law. Luckily, they know me so well and dispelled all his lies about me. He almost prevented my marriage from succeeding and now I dont talk to him anymore (since the wedding) and choose not to. I get ugly dreams and nightmare about him and it sometimes affects my relationship with my wife. Her parents feel i should call him and insist we are brothers. But I want to keep as far away from him as possible bcos he almost took my life in 94 and tried to destroy my marriage. I used to be puzzled why he would do this to a brother who used to look up to him but I've become jaded and if i dont ever hear from him i wouldnt mind. Am I wrong?

i have a boyfriend and I love him sooooo... much and want to be with him so bad but the problem is that sometimes i don't believe him.his 19 and I'm 18.he says that he still has his V card but he tride it and it hurted him so bad.i just can't understand how does it hurts hime.all the other guys that i have ask said it's nothing it feels good but he said it hurts.we both want to wait until we get married but i don't know is he the right one for me.

We're baptizing our baby this Saturday. We would like to go eat at a restaurant afterwards, but my husband has a big family..and that's cause we want to keep it as intimate as possible...but he has like 2 sisters, one with 4 kids + husband, ...then a brother and his g-friend, then my sister which is the godmother, and my parents...we had planned to pay for the 2 couples-parents, the godmother and ourselves, cause I honestly think it's too much to pay for all of them....and then theyre the type they wont even offer to help with at least 10 dollars at then end...theyre willing to go whenever anything is free... so where can we go so we wont have to pay a lot?? like a buffet, or should we go to a restaurant and order the same thing for everyone ... I just dont want to end up paying a fortune bescause of that... and no, I dont want to do anything at my house either...We will all be dressed up and its a day I want to enjoy and not go home and be serving everyone so any suggestions?

My husband seems to be really obsessed with the Mega Millions Lottery and talks about "when we win" this and "when we win" that. You and I both know my husband and I are never going to win. My boyfriend and I have been dating for almost 3 months now and I get this weird feeling about his roommate. My boyfriend is 24 and his roommate is 55. His roommate is a retired stockbroker and has lots of money. He likes to take my boyfriend on trips, out to dinner, plays and pays for every thing. This last week he says that his roommate came into his room drunk and wanted to talk. He crawled into his bed and they cuddled and talked. My boyfriend says that it was a really good bonding experience and nothing happened. He says that he does not think of him in any sexual way what so ever. I trust my boyfriend, and know that he does not have feeling for his roommate. On the other hand I do not trust his roommate. Is this weird or am I being Paranoid?

my sister got married last month to a great guy. but the guy has baggage. he has a kid in barbados and the mother is almost milking them dry. the woman lied about having a job, and ket calling and demanding money to feed and support the child. so finally my sister investigated and found out that the woman has been a cop there for about 3 years, and has just been lying to them all along.

My sister says she feels hatred for the woman, and she wants to call her and tell her that she will get $200 US per month, and when she pays the school fees the woman will have to survive on the surplus.

She confides in me sometimes and tells me that she hates that her hubby has a child. And she hates that he chose such a ridiculous woman to get involved with.

He tries to console her, but she keeps slippign into this weird kind of anxiety where she just really hates that he was with this other woman...enough to get a child.

Lets say:

Ok, my younger distant cousin who is 19, slept - at least twice- with my older brother, who is 27 just over 1 year ago. I know this cause I could hear what woz going on and smell the dope.

Question about closeness and moving from friendship to more!!!!??????
I have this best friend, I'm a guy, she's a girl, we are 15 and have known each other for 2 years. When we hang out in a group, we are always standing close to each other. We playfully fight with and mock each other all the time. She calls me Reilly, even tho everyone else calls me by my first name and if they call me Reilly she gets anoyed. We are very comfortable with each other. On a couch we sorta lean into each other, anyway, I am pretty sure now that she likes me, an I know I like her, A Lot, so what should I do next? Should I test the waters by hugging her? An arm round the shoulder or waist? Any advice?

Specifically I want to know what I should do next and how.

Also, sholud I make it apparant to her that I am trying to change our relationship?

What do I do when my guy seems insecure about his family's money compared to mine? My family are more well off, and live in a big city. His parents aren't as well off, and live in a small town. The problem is, he had to move back home for certain reasons, but before he left he hinted to me, that he was worried about what my parents would think of him or his family financially. For some reason, he thinks that they might be snobby or have high standards, which is not the case! They are humble people, but since he hadn't met my parents yet he didn't know. The only reason why I think that is because he told me that I wear nice clothes & drive a nice car, so he might look at me & think my parents must have high standards that he could never live up to. But it's not true, my family & I love people for who they are, not money. I don't want his "preconceived notion" to get in the way of a potential serious relationship. How can I be honest?
