you know do you like when there is a big family gathering for a few days. one time my whole family all got together at my uncle's place, there must have been more than 33 people altogether (including kids & friends)! we all spent a whole weekend together. it woz real nice you know. lots of food, drink, entertainment and we had a big barbecue one day. it woz really nice and peaceful time for all.

Have u ever had a reunion like this, and do u enjoy gatherings like this when the whole house is full of people with lots of noise & food etc? some people i know say this would be nightmare for them..( ?

My sister is 5 years older than me. Every thing I tell her she acts like I'm telling her a lie. If I says the sky is blue she says it purple. Like her 15 year old daughter was hanging around a 35 year old woman being best friends, I told her this woman was trouble. Then every blew up she said didn't know. But if she hears something from someone else it the true. Why is she like this?

You are my Dream

You capture my heart
When I just hear you laugh
And though we are young
You're my missing half
When you're playing with children
And showing them love
You make my heart beat
Like your sent from above
You capture my heart
With your captivating beauty
And inspire me to make
Caring for you my duty
When you're walking, you move
With such style and grace
And I could study all day
Every line of your face
I'll search high and low
Until each other we find
But now for today
You exist in my mind
When we are apart
It's you I will miss
And long once again
To taste your sweet kiss
I'll embrace you so close
Each night and each day
But for now I will search
Till I find you .................Someday

I would like to talk with any girl my age (13-16) who likes my poem

My ex-boyfriend was really a tactless, insensitive person although he claimed to be sensitive...now that we have broke up i just can't bring myself to forget him...i keep reminiscing about the past about what we did and how much fun we had. I know it's all the past but everything was really so sweet...he was my first love. He also said a lot of unkind things to me but i can't make myself be angry at him. Whenever he sends me sms to wish me goodnight i would get very lonely and miss the times when we were together...i know perfectly that i really deserve better but i just can't forget him...i love him so much. Only after we broke up only did i realise how much i loved him....There were happy and sad times together with him but i just keep on thinking about how happy we were...and i worry that he'll not take care of himself...i really feel very sad and miss him a lot. How i wish i can give him a hug right now.

I need to know who pays what? Does the bride and groom pay for everything or is it still the brides mother and father pay for the ceremony and the grooms parents pay for the reception? Im getting married May 2007 and Im only going to have about 15 of my friends and family there. The other 100 guest will be his friends and family so I think his parents should pay for the reception to feed all those folks, its their family.

Dating a guy I met. We have a great time together, really enjoy one another's company. But, once in awhile he freaks out a little on me (i.e. reinforces how hurt he was in last relationship and not going to commit again). I can't seem to convince him that I am not interested in getting married, just like his companionship. Give me a little advice, please. Have been out of the dating circuit for quite some time.

Question about closeness and moving from friendship to more!!!!??????
I have this best friend, I'm a guy, she's a girl, we are 15 and have known each other for 2 years. When we hang out in a group, we are always standing close to each other. We playfully fight with and mock each other all the time. She calls me Reilly, even tho everyone else calls me by my first name and if they call me Reilly she gets anoyed. We are very comfortable with each other. On a couch we sorta lean into each other, anyway, I am pretty sure now that she likes me, an I know I like her, A Lot, so what should I do next? Should I test the waters by hugging her? An arm round the shoulder or waist? Any advice?

Specifically I want to know what I should do next and how.

Also, sholud I make it apparant to her that I am trying to change our relationship?

The "older" guy that found me, has also been searching for me for a long time. But I think that I am fallen in love with my new one. I duno what to do. Should I follow my old flame, or go with the new. They both would treat me right! The new one is a little more stable as far as I know! Please Help

I just wanted to see if there are people out there who are in the same boat. I am a nigerian now living in the states. My father was abusive to my mom and just recently found out how i was given birth to. My father almost beat my mom to death before she gave birth to me. She had to literally break away from him and run away to the hospital driving herself to give birth to me. Then even after she gave birth to me, the abuse continued and I was told thatt she had to abandon me when i was a few weeks old, left me with him (my uncle and aunt had to stay with my dad to take care of me). Now, one would think my mom and I would be the best of friends, but growing up, she took out alot of bitterness on me. She always cursed me and even told me that I bring back ugly memories whenever she looks at me bcos I look like my dad the most out of all us. I wonder if this is common bcos I've dated single mothers here in the states who have dead beat baby dads and they would NEVER despise their kids.

This is just hypothical. I'm curious as to where OUR biggest regrets lie. Is it family, spouses, children, personal happiness, etc., etc.?

okay so i have had a bf for 5 mo. now and we are really close. About a week ago i confronted him about a mutual friend that was being really clingy and touchy feely with him. I also talked to her and she said she would stop. Well this created akwardness in their relationship and they were like best friends before. i didn't mean to ruin anything i just wanted to put my feelings out there to both of them but now they both blame me for the rift in their relationship. I feel terrible but wasn't it right to have shared my concerns with both of them? I don't know what else i could have done, also they aren't even on speaking terms and it's all my fault...what should i do. I tried to get them to go to coffee together and they did but that blew up in my face because my bf says she was a b***h to him and that he sees now she was just trying to break us up. I feel terrible is ther something i can do to change this!!!! my life is such a mess right now!! plz help...

I think my mother is undergoing the midlife crisis but I'm not sure.. She is only 46 years old. I can't help her much because I live 9 hours away from her due to work reasons. I want to help her. She feels like she doesn't have any use anymore and doesn't see the good side of life. She gets depressed suddenly. She wants to just be alone but we can't let that happen. The best support I can give is to just always call her after working hours. Kindly help me in this matter. Thank you.

Additional Details

My father also works two hours away from her so they only see each other during weekends. She wants to go with him but my father insists that she rather take care of my two brothers. She feels left out. I'd like to talk to my father sooner or later about this but I'm afraid he might take this lightly considering that he has also lots of things to do. My siblings are also living their own lives. Perhaps, what confuses me is the fact that we are all happy and very close as a family.

I have been dating my fiance for about 7 years now since I was 15 & he was 18. His mom & I have never had a really close relationship (his family is VERY different from mine) But we have never had problems and have always gotten along. Our 2 families are actually pretty close. I have tried so hard to get close to her but havent been successful. We are supposed to be getting married in less than a month, and she has been being very negative about the whole thing, We are getting married in a resort about 5 hrs from where we all live and when we told her she said "I guess we can all take off work". Just last week, 2 of her sister-in-laws wanted to give us a shower and she made the statement "they don't need no shower". It is really starting to get to me. Why is she being this way? My fiance blames her menopause! My fiance's sister announced that she was getting married right before we did, she is getting married next year does his mom think we are taking the attention away from his sister

I have been seeing my girlfriend for a number of months now. I have known her daughter just as long as I have known her. I get along great with her daughter. We are planning to move in together in the next couple months. The largest issue holding us back is how to prepare her daughter. She has never lived with anyone else but her mother. We are really concerned with how she will handle the transition. Does anyone have any advice on how to make it as easy as possible on her?
