I'm here and he's way over there. It will take a while to be back together and this long distance thing will remain a problem for months. any suggestions?

She did go, she spent week end with him, she did came back to me in one piece :) , he flew back to his place, with a promise that he will return in a year or so.

She is happy, she still loves me, and she still wants to be with me like she has been, since last 18 years.

They did have sex, and I am happy for her, that she enjoyed.

It has not changed a single bit between us.

So cheerup guys and girls, If you have confidence on your self and on her and on top of every thing on your relations, you aint got any thing to worry. And I know few of you will say that, she will change in few months or years. For them, I am here, to report any changes.

Yes. I have had issues with lowlifes and getting close with them. I tried to play hero with my last two girlfriends. But when things started going in a positive direction it all fell apart.
I suppose I cant get more than a couple positive answers to this question. aside from all the snide rhetoric which is sure to accompany, they will be much appreciated.
For personal reasons (i.e. age, relationship history, desire to have children with a coherent partner) I dont feel that I have the time necessary to devote to someone that needs to be stabilized before she can even be respected to make her own decisions ok.
I want a mature partner and nothing else will do.
everyone has demons. now how to identify some very early on? brainstorm with me? thanks.

ok i know this guy at first he wouldn't really talk to me. but a few weeks ago i saw him my daughter took to him and he seemed to take to her. a few days later i saw him and he asked me where she was he wanted to play with her usually when he does she's by by chest which is where hs hand goes. well the other day i got out of the car and he was like hey what's up then he had this smirk on his face and my husband was standing there then he asked me if i worked that day i said no because she was sick and he said well i've never seen you dressed up before i wasn't really had on boots jeans and a short sleeved sweater.. do you think he likes me or is it just wishfull thinking

I've been seeing this man for a while now. He's had some serious surgeories on his heart. He's funny, sweet and charming. And while things have gone quite well, he's suddenly pulling away. I know it can't be because i'm smothering or mothering him. He has the right to do as he chooses and I try to understand. His words say: no committment, no picket fences, no promises...his eyes and body language say something entirely different. He still has a hangup over someone else, and I can't stop that I know. But I am in love with the guy. I'm also very lost and hurt. I don't know what to do. Should I move on or be more understanding and give it more time, or should I simply give up on any hopes and dreams I've had? I used to believe in love forever, now I don't. There is this girl that i work with that i like but i am trying to figure out how she feels about me. we have been working together for over two months now and when we work together she follows me everywhere and i catch her looking at me all the time and she sometimes likes to walk past me and slap me on the butt and things like that. She likes to hug me sometimes and kiss me (sorta) on the neck or back. We get along together great but there is a 13 yr age difference she is 18 1/2 and i am 31 1/2. she says she likes me as a friend but i think she likes me more. is suicide a cowards way out..i ask cos a mate of mine has just suceeded,he was, unknown to his family and friends,apparently going through finance,and work hell,this he believed it was destroying his life,which made him self destruct(his words not mine) he tried to fit in with life but felt he kept getting it wrong.he doted on/loved his son,and his wife had just told him she wanted to get a divorce,he was on anti depressants ,but had stopped taking them for fear of becoming addicted to them but the pressure apparently got too much. so the question is is it a cowards way out or because he suceeded was he brave?
