i think i like this guy in that way but i'm like way taller than him..he's 5'4" and I'm 5'6"..i know it doesn't seem that much of a difference but i kind of feel like i tower over him..what do you think?

It shouldn't matter. If he is 5'4" and you are 5'6", you are not towering over him like a basketball player unless you are one who wears a lot of heels.
I am a shorter than average man myself. I stand 5'6" tall. Even though I do not let it stop me from going up to women and talking to them, a lot of women like their men to be taller than they are. They were brought up believing that their men are supposed to be taller than they are. Shorter men makes them feel physically awkward and they have this feeling that a short man can't protect them physically. It is all really superficial.
She is not too tall or too short for me as long I can look her in the eyes when we dance and kiss. ;)

heh! i'm 5'4" myself...no, that's not terrible at all!
really, it shouldn't matter that much anyway.... but i can understand where you're coming from...
an extra inch or 2 is not "way taller"...a foot, maybe, yeah, *then*...but a couple inches is no biggie! :)
you don't "really" tower over him, so try and stop yourself from thinking that you do!

IT COULD MEAN A PROBLEM CAUSE MANY A GUY WOULD FEEL INSECURE, THOUGH IF YOU HAVE A MATURE RELATION & OUTLOOK, IT SHOULD NOT MATTER.

we're all the same height laid down... and height has nothing to do with sex drive, attractiveness, equipment ability... if you like him, ask him out and get busy!!! :D
