It's crazy, kinna like a father-daughter relationship. The men will always want to know where his "women" is, and if she is out with a guy friend, he blows up. Is it the power that they like in a man, or is it simply that they are weak. I'm personally looking for a partnership.

Women who date possesive men are usually the ones who are insecure with themselves. The men who are possesive are insecure with themselves in their own right. There is a level of trust that doesn't exist in their relationship. Most women who persue or stay in those relationships like the bad boys for some psycological reason.

We females like to feel needed and even mistake possessiveness to real love.
It would feel great at first knowing that here's a man who's crazy about you but the novelty wears off pretty fast too.

no it's just territorial pissing on men's part and women love the attention of that type of situation. It's where insecurity and security collied. Find someone who wants to be more of a friend and develop upon that foundation first.

some girls like it that way so that they feel like they have a sense or security or watever crap it is.
personally, i hate possesive guys to be a boyfren of mine. but sometimes u just duno u see. i mean when u get to know a guy, would he introduce himself of being a possesive person? no, right. it's after i said yes, i'd love to be ur girlfren that all his true colors will come out.

I think women are born with wanting to feel taken care of. No matter how strong or independent they are. With this want already inside them they mistake possessiveness for being taken care of and cared for. they learn too late

I DEFINITELY do not date possessive men. As soon as I see a symptom, they go to hell. I hate to be monitored. Women that date possessive men are definitely weak, not to mention pathetic.

It's because they usually are not strong and have low self esteem. If they were strong women with self esteem they wouldn't want a man that treated them that way. they would want more for themselves.
