I have met this wonderful girl online. We have been talking for about 5 months now. I really like her and it seems that she likes me too. There is just an issue of distance between us and the fact that i'm leaving for the military. I mean, i really like this girl, she is into about 88% of the stuff that i'm into. Shes' quite perfect for me. Is this odd? Should i try to persue this relationship? Or is it doomed from that start since it is an internet relationship?

I am asking someone out to homecoming sometime this month and I'm guessing she is going to say no. If she does I'm sure she'll be like "just as friends"... so should I go with her as friends or just not even go to the dance... it might be such a downer that I won't even want to go... guys, what should I do if she says "just as friends"?

he lives alomst 3 hours away..we use to date about 6 years ago. but truth be told i am scared to jump into a relationship.. i already have 2 kids and he says that it dont bother him..he is caring,sweet,funny..just everything that i want..he says that distance dont bother him that he would drive 6 hours if he had to. I am just at that crossroad where i dont know which one to take. Do i go left where it might be me and my kids for the rest of my life or do i go right where there is someone who really wants to make a relationship with me? And is not scared that i already have 2 kids. I am scared to jump into this..I just dont let men in and out of my life..I am so confused and dont know what to do?

I met this girl through a lady I worked with over the summer (her daughter). The mother set us up even tho she had and still has a boyfriend. She lives about 2 hrs away from me and her mother. When she and her boyfriend came out to visit I met her, she snuck off with me, and we hooked up. She came out to visit again 2 wks later and for a week we hung out, ended up f'ing, and I think connecting. The mother (who is a lil sick in the head, also has a thing for me) started telling me how much the daughter likes me and how I won her over. Now im up at school, still about two hours from her, and shes still with the kid. I know she likes me and I want her to leave the guy. I'm 20, shes 17, her bf is 16. The thing is, I think she's dependant on him as her home life is not great and he has a stable and entertaining house. Also he throws money at her because hes a tool. She tells me she wants to dump him but when she tries he cries and she feels bad. What do i do? is she too immature?

My husband has a drug problem and I told him if he messed up and left us broke again I was going to leave, but his daddy is in the hospital dying hooked up to a respirator and thats the only thing keeping him alive and my husband is messing up again. This time he gave me all of his money before i left so he wouldnt mess up but I know he is probably just selling his fishing poles and whatever tools he has. Would I be an awful person if I left him knowing he is suffering from his dad being so sick and may not live? What should I do? We have 2 kids also

I really don't understand men's psycology. We have a lot of family friends and relatives. Whenever the menfolk get together along with their spouses, they speak about other girls, their figure, looks etc and keep ga ga over other girls they happened to see at the shopping malls/office etc. I note this as a common feature in men. Else their favorite topic in front women are cars, latest models etc (which their spouses are vaguely interested about). In both the topics, I feel irritated as they are not my grounds of interest. How do I deal with such men when they start speaking with each other about women/girls when I am present? Women must be understanding my question clearly. Men too can answer but serious answers only. Let me also add, when the above two topics come, only men seem to be united in the talk with beam in their eyes.

Ok my gf is normaly a shy girl like really shy she doesnt talk about sex, she holds back alot and i dont pressure her. So today she tells me she has something to show me so i go over there we hang out for a bit then she goes and takes a shower. So after 20 minutes she comes back into the room and asks me to cover my eyes and when i open them shes wearing a nighty. So im shocked cuz we havent done anything the fact that shes so shy. So yeah after i stop drooling she starts getting pretty loose with me and she got into a teasing mode and it got me going but yeah the phone rang and it was her mom so yeah killed the mood. My sister lives about 300 miles away, but we are close compared to the rest of our family. She has a boyfriend of 5 years and a few yrs back he cut his foot playing basketball, didnt get it taken care of until it was too late, got a staph infection, and long story short, it never could get completely treated and now he is on oxygen, cant walk, barely talk, cant feel, no control of bodily functions...he's on his last days on hospice care right now. My sis is taking this very hard...I called her and its the first time in her 27 yrs i have heard her cry. I dont know what to say to her...she's taken personal leave from work to take care of him and stay by him full time (no pay) and I know she doesnt get any sleep. I dont know what to say to her, I dont know how to help her through this. Any suggestions?

I am stepmom and have raised her as one of my own. Her mom is getting more and more into the drug scene and thinks she should still have input into raising of daughter. Husband received sole custody of both children within six months of mom leaving. She has been allowed very reasonable access and has never paid any child support.

Alright, I have been dating this girl for almost 2 years now. she is the most amazing person ever. The first year went by so quickly and we had so much fun together. We had so much in common and we would talk for hous upon hours. Lately I have been critiquing everything about her, I have been getting annoyed with little things and I feel like it is coming to a hault. Deep down in my heart i love her and would do anything for her. Sometimes when I look at her I just smile becuz she is the most beautiful girl i have ever seen and then at other times i am not as excited about it. What is going on...I don't ever like thinking about the relationship coming to an end, we have experienced way to much together and I don't want to lose that bond. What do i need to do to make things better for myself without harmning our relationship?
