My sister lives about 300 miles away, but we are close compared to the rest of our family. She has a boyfriend of 5 years and a few yrs back he cut his foot playing basketball, didnt get it taken care of until it was too late, got a staph infection, and long story short, it never could get completely treated and now he is on oxygen, cant walk, barely talk, cant feel, no control of bodily functions...he's on his last days on hospice care right now. My sis is taking this very hard...I called her and its the first time in her 27 yrs i have heard her cry. I dont know what to say to her...she's taken personal leave from work to take care of him and stay by him full time (no pay) and I know she doesnt get any sleep. I dont know what to say to her, I dont know how to help her through this. Any suggestions?

You need to be supportive of her. Tell her you are behind her 100 percent. Visit him and her in the hospital. Tell you respect her and you will stay by her side.

Sorry hun yet i'm somewhat obscure on what your attempting to place across, yet i will attempt and supply an answer. Your sister can not dish out any style of punishment to you except your mum and dad provide her that precise, or maybe then i think of this isn't a stable thank you to circulate. something she says that motives you soreness, you should talk on your mum and dad approximately, and as to what's your fault, i'm specific you could tell the style between precise and incorrect besides, so circulate on as till now.

You need to let her do what she wants to do. Really you can not stop her from this. If you love her you will support he no matter what. So I suggest you ask her how you can help her best. You can help her best by asking her. All I can say is let her know you love her through this all and if he passes away you will be there for her.

Just be there for her, and tell her what you said here. I love you, and I'm not sure how to help, but I really want to.
Call her more often, and just let her talk (about this guy or something else). Nothing beats having someone there for whatever when things are hard.

If you can go to her, then go and be with her. If you can't, then send her some money cause she's not working right now. If you can't do that, then simply call her every day and listen to her. Don't offer platitudes, simply let her talk.

Be there for her.
Listen to her.
Be as supportive as you can.
See her as often as distance, work, and your own family time allows.
I am sorry to hear about this. Good luck to all of you.
