I've been married over 15 years, with no sign of it ending other than by death: Just wanted to shout it to the cyber world: Thank You Lord.

The following is an answer to Lori B: The "Mr. potato head" thing is mostly out of boredom, a way to get points fast, and a crazy answer to crazy or not particularly interesting ( to me anyway ) question.
Sorry about your fiancee's death. I too am a Christian; I hope you can move on in the peace of the Lord soon. Life goes on, with or witout us, so go on with life.

I've seen a lot of your answers in here. They are basically Hello Mr. Potato Head. Do you do that to the people that don;t dignify a real response? I am a Christian and I was going to get married but my fiance died. That was in 2001 and I still dont feel free to move on..........

♥ I've been married 12 wonderful, amazing, glorious years ♥ with definately NO end in sight except death as well. I was lucky enough to find my SOUL MATE at 19 years old and marry him 6 months after meeting him and it was by far the most natural thing I've ever done.

Congratulations to all of you! Marriage is hard work and I commend all of you for having the commitment and moral fortitude.
My wife left me after she decided she wanted to be a nightclub diva. She now living with an unemployed guy who is a coke head and beats her when she even mentions going out to a nightclub.... did I mention she's declaring bankruptcy too? Hmm....guess the grass isn't greener on the other side.
Keep up the good work!!

We are going to be celebrating our 25th anniversary next year. Many marriages are shortlived because people don't stick it out through the hard time, and they will happen! We have had our ups and downs but were either too poor or too stubborn to get divorced. lol We're so lucky to have each other and we still "float each others boat"

Aww! Good for you! I'm not married, so I can't really answer your question properly.
BUT, I just wanted to say that people like you give me hope and restore my faith in the institution of marriage. I hope to be able to say that I'm 15 years and counting with someone someday!

My parents have been married for 33 years now. My 2 uncles have been married for longer than that and never been divorced. I also have more cousins that are still in marriages (their first) than divorced.
