I just found out this morning that last night a close family friend walked outside to find her husband had hung himself off their deck. Not only were they a young couple with a brand new baby (she's not even 1 yet) they were very much in love, or at least they seemed to be. I know there were other issues in their marriage, but that's not the point.

The issue is that the detectives that are investigating the suicide found a note he wrote to his wife (my family-friend) but they won;t give it to her. It's been on my mind all morning. My question is, do you think it is better for her not to see the note he wrote to her? Or do notes like these provide closure? What would you do if something like this happened to you or your family (God forbid)? What reasons would the detectives have for not giving her the note?

These are just some things I've been thinking about this morning. I'm not really looking for a solution, just opinions. Thank you.

My partner and I are celebrating our 5 year anniversary next week and she wants me to suprise her by going somewhere or doing something special. She wants to be really impressed but im having trouble of thinking what special thing we could do to fit the bill. It needs to be original, fun and not too expensive. I could take her for a very classy meal in the best restaurant in town but thats not very impressive or original. Any suggestions?

My boyfriend and I had been living together for a year and lately we had been having a lot of problems/arguments. I was trying really hard to work through them because he expressed that it was making him unhappy.

A week ago we got into yet another argument and he packed up and left. I spoke to him a couple days later and suggested that we date but not live together and perhaps we could better work out our problems that way and he agreed saying that he thought that was a good idea. I talked to him Thurs. and Fri. and everything was fine. Then I didn't hear from him all weekend.

I am told that he needs space and time to think. I know he loves me and wants to be with me - so what does he need all this space to think about? He won't take my calls to explain this to me because it 'makes him want to be with me'. What is so wrong with that?

Basically what I want to know is what it is he needs all this time and space to think about, and will he come back?

There is a woman ive kind of got acquainted for almost 2 years. She would tell me that she likes me and all that and that I seem like a real nice guy. Then I ask her would you like to go out sometime??? She can't shes got a boyfriend...So I stopped talking to her for about 6 months. Then one day I bumped into her while shopping...She then asks me how come I dont call her anymore with a sad look with concern. I then told her I have been busy and so forth. She did mention she still had a boyfriend still. She asks if I would still like to hang out sometime. I said yea I would like that. She said shes getting a car next week and that she could drive somewhere and meet me. She offers her number and told me to call her. Ive called her enough to show interest. Its been three weeks and she still says she dont know when shes getting the car and dont know when we can hang out. And when I do call her she dont try to make conversation and I do most of the talking. Is she playing game?

I have been dating Evie for six years and we have been building toward a permanent arrangement. Last fall she started a job at the Post office. One day she left up on the screen a flirtitious letter to him that basically was hitting on him. I read it and exploded. She said it was just a joke. Soon after that she lied to me after I thought we had patched things up and went out to dinner with him still claiming it was only friendship. Again I exploded but we worked it out. One day he called while I was there and asked herand her son to come down and play in the playground close by. She jumped in the car and went. Then she didn't hear from him for months. Now she is trying to work at the post office again and they are in contact a lot. He calls her frequently. She says she has told him how seious we are but he continues to call and she continues to answer. He has called 8 times in the last two weeks. Am I nuts to stay in this and try working it out or am I over reacting. Please help me!!!

Hi there. Was with a girl for 2 years 6 months ago. She left me. I have moved on alot since then and alot more happier. The question is, I am really looking forward to my next relationship, but at the same time I am so scared and not sure if I ever want one again. I keep on looking on dating sites to find someone but I never do. Just wandering if anyone has been in a similar situation, and how did you know when you were ready again. Silly it sounds but my mind is in two places. Thanks in advance.

I know it might cause some issues down the road since she really seemed to take it to heart, but when you have kids... they can just get so annoying at times! It's hard to resist the temptation to tell them something - anything! - which will give you a moments peace and quiet.

From my experience, if your woman is pretty in most people's eyes, there is an 80 percent chance that she will sleep with someone else during your relationship with her. Just in the LAST YEAR ALONE, not to mention my adult life so far, I have slept with 11 women who cheated: 4 were married, 3 were engaged and 4 were in serious relationships that were over a year old.

These were not your run of the mill skanks either. These were all very pretty, educated women, many of whom I went to college with and had slept with before they were married, engaged or in relationships.

I can assure you that if your woman is not really pretty and educated, the numbers might even be worse.

THE SIGNS: They say the same thing to me every time. They tell me that after we have sex, they find it difficult to look you in the eye. So, if you start seeing a blank stare or feel distance, you're onto her. More than likely, she's on her way out the door though so get ready to move on or take abuse.
