I think marriage is a wonderful thing. When two people love each other enough to express their vows of love to not only each other, but before God or whatever they believe in, and friends and family, it makes loving that person so much more celebratory. Marriage is a lot of hard work, and a lot of effort, but when you love the person enough you will do whatever you can to make the marriage work. My husband and I will be celebrating our 12th anniversary next Monday, and although we have had a lot of trials and tribulations in our relationship, we have tried everything we can to bring our relationship back to the level it was when we first got married. The most important thing to a good marriage is to remember that you are part of a team and that you need to work together to find answers to questions and work together to keep the marriage alive and well. All the hard work and effort of marriage makes the rewards all worth it in the end!

Marriage can be a good thing if it is important to both partners and they are both willing to put forth the effort to make it work, otherwise, I don't think legal marriage is a necessity in our society anymore unless it is required by your religious beliefs or you want to benefit in some way from it being legalized - like taking half their assets in a divorce!

It's a personal preference. Some people want to get married and start a family, while others feel that they may possibly have been meant to be alone and think it's best for them. It's all in what you want and what makes you happy.,

Good. Married people live longer because deep inside we all want to find that someone who loves us, no matter our imperfections and living with this person for the rest of one's life is just the medicine the doctor ordered

Ideally it's a priceless union ordained by God.

Actually it is way less than perfect. But as a friend said once, "There are no perfect marriages, just perfect moments".

So is it worth what one has to go through in order to have those perfect moments....................?

I thought it was good.. but to be honest... I'll never get married again... just have a boyfriend and will see him to go out and have sex with... the rest... nope.. I'm done with it... got hurt way to much... and I need to protect my son in all this.. can't afford meeting someone that will hurt him.. enough that his father does...
