I have been dating Evie for six years and we have been building toward a permanent arrangement. Last fall she started a job at the Post office. One day she left up on the screen a flirtitious letter to him that basically was hitting on him. I read it and exploded. She said it was just a joke. Soon after that she lied to me after I thought we had patched things up and went out to dinner with him still claiming it was only friendship. Again I exploded but we worked it out. One day he called while I was there and asked herand her son to come down and play in the playground close by. She jumped in the car and went. Then she didn't hear from him for months. Now she is trying to work at the post office again and they are in contact a lot. He calls her frequently. She says she has told him how seious we are but he continues to call and she continues to answer. He has called 8 times in the last two weeks. Am I nuts to stay in this and try working it out or am I over reacting. Please help me!!!

i would say she is not sure of your relationship i would leave here with the understanding to let you know when she figures it out and what she really wants. it will also give you time to really think about if this is really the person you want to spend the rest of your life with. Trust is more important then love in a relationship for it to work. the breakdown of trust causes jealousy and arguments and eventually the end of the relationship.
take a month off from the relationship, no calls, no contact. with that agreement between you. the time taken will clear everything up for both of you.

I think that her friendship w/ that man is too much temptation and you need to set some boundries. How would she feel if some girl was calling you. Don't make any comitments until you know for sure that you can be happy w/ this person. If you will thinking "Hummm i wonder what she is doing" all the time this isn't a good thing.

Even though there is a tinge of possesiveness in your letter, justifiably, I think you should probe a little further more. Is there a tinge of blackmail in him? Is he using it to get your girl for his pleasures?Rather than blaming her, try to find the real truth! If it is just friendship and genuine friendship, dont bother about it but if its some thing like forced friendship with blackmail, sort it out with him in her presence!!!

I'd find someone else! But before you do, work on the anger management! Exploding never helps anyone!
Good luck

ARE YOU STUPID OR WHAT?? IT'S SO OBVIOUS THAT THEY LIKE EACH OTHER, SO GIVE HER AWAY YOU DON'T NEED A PROMISCIOUS WOMAN LIKE HER. UNLESS THAT'S WHAT YOU WANT AND WHAT YOU DESERVE?
