Last I heard, the divorce rates in America is around 50%, which is amongst the highest in the world. Do you think it is a good trend, because more people feel reassured and comfortable with the fact that they have a way out of abusive marriages? Or, do you think it is a bad trend, because of the decline in morals and marital values over the last several decades, meaning too much adultery or too much abuse of the marriage?

I met a girl about 9 months ago, and for awhile liked/loved her. But recently I'm starting to think it was a waste and I may have been better off without meeting her. I feel like everything wrong in my life rite now is her fault. I had my heart broken when she said she just wanted to be friends, and recently I think I lost her as a friend completely (we were BEST friends, talked every single day for hours). Her boyfriend hates me, and he's the reason we're not gonna be friends anymore, cause she'll listen to him when he tells her not to talk to me ever again, PLUS it sounds like he's gonna fight me one of these days. And idk if this is her or no, but I've lost my drive in school. My friends said i was stupid to fall in love when i did, and i'm starting to think it was. It was a waste of 9 months, all for NOTHING but bad things. I'm wishing rite now i never met this girl. For all you out there...be careful if you fall in love. Sometimes it can be good, sometimes it can SUCK.

I really love gardens and flowers and this place that I am having the wedding at is beautiful with gardens. The wisteria, tulip trees, azaleas are just beginning to bloom late February. In April not much is in bloom but trees, banana trees, and shrubs are more lush and green. The girls will be in red gowns, me in a large dress. I love cold or cool weather since I'm from Houston. (I hate the heat). Ceiling fans are all over the grounds, under trellises, in the pavilion, with a/c & heat, and lots of shade. Twinkle lights will be everywhere, including the gazebo and fountains. But can someone help me determine which date to go with? Feb 24 or April 21? The location is just beautiful. But I'm worried about rain and heat and the enjoyment for us & our guests. I want them to have lots of fun and dancing. Would most people enjoy it outdoors in February in Conroe? The pavilion has very large windows so it feels like your outside the whole time also. Please help me decide the date!!

Saturday night my wife told me that she had cheated on me with another guy. She told me that she was sorry and that she would never do it again or contact him again. At that point I was shocked and over-whelmed with emotions, but I had two options in my head--make the marriage work or divorce.

Monday night I stayed at a friend's house and Tuesday night she said she stayed at a friend's. Wednesday night, while she was sleeping, I checked her phone. She had been talking and text messaging this guy each day since she told me about cheating.

Then I checked her voicemail. She had two messages from this guy. One of them said that he loved their time together Tuesday night! She wasn't at her friend's. By the way, she had this guy's phone number saved in her phone under her friend Stephanie's name.

I confronted her and she came clean.

I am more destroyed now more than the first time. How do I move forward from here?

What I am about to write may offend someone. I am not trying to. I just want to figure out whether I should go see a shrink or not.
So here it goes....
I 19 and have always thought I had never been raped or molested.
Well I was laying in bed last night trying to sleep and all of the sudden memories I had always had turned into more detailed memories. Example:
I remember my uncle telling me to come in his room and close the door.
Last night my vision showed me what happened after I had closed the door. Well, I will spare the details but in short it was melestation.
I've heard of people blocking things out but I never thought that could happen to me.
Do you think it's possible that memories you never knew existed can really be right there and play back in your head for the first time years later?
I wonder if my mind is playing tricks on me. What if that never happened? But then why would stuff like that come to my head? Is this even worth going to the doctor for?

I stupidly dated my older brother's best friend (who is 4 years older than me). He got too serious and I broke up with him after about 5 months. Now I'm still single, but I have someone who I'm beginning to like. My brother assumed we were dating and now my ex is writing means messages to me online about how my reasons for breaking up with him were bullsh*t (when I broke up with him I tried to tell him he moved too fast and I wasn't as committed to it as he was...which is true) and calling me a manipulative snake and what not. I saw him today as he was picking up my brother to go hang out or something and tried to talk to him and tell him it's not true. He wouldn't listen to me and spent the entire time covering his ears. When I said I wasn't in a relationship, he said "Why do you care?" I said it's because he hurt me. He still wouldn't listen. What can I do in this situation without putting my brother in the middle.

Thursday night, my sister and i were sexually assulted outside of a club. the man that assulted me pinned me down on my vehicle and put his hand up my shirt and squeezed one of my boobs really hard. last night i noticed a large lump in my breast right about where he squeezed it. has anyone had this happen before? does it need to be checked out by a dr? it hurts to touch it. my ankle also was twisted and i was pushed really hard into a truck mirror and the side of my back that made contact still really hurts. i guess my question is, should i be checked out by a dr or will the pains go away? for the record, he was not able to get sex from me so im not worried about stds or anything. if you have any helpful advice, please let me know. thanks

OK I'm 21 an I have been with my boyfriend for 2 years, before him I had 2 serious relationships. I'm done having fun and going out all the time which you probably think is strange for a 21 year old I just want to go out for meals and go the pub, and I just want to get a house and a good job and be settled. My Boyfriend feels the same (hes 23).

I know he's the one I truely love him more than any of my other boyfriends and he treats me with respect and words cant describe our relationship. We've talked about buying a house and getting engaged but financially its not possible yet. We've even talked about kids but only in the next 4 years or so we want to go abroad and have fun first, whenever I mention this to my friends they make comments like "your too young".

I think once you meet the person you'll know what you want, weather their the one and weather its love. I mean my parents have been together since they were 19 and their 44 now.

i told my mom that she's wrong for trying to use the system she seems to think just because my bro. is bipolar that is cause for a disablity check every month and he can work nothing seems to be wrong with him b/cuz he will smoke and drink and party and can hold down a 9 to 5 but my mom makes him believe he can't do nothing more he's only 20 and has a fulll life ahead of him but he's always saying im disabled for instance he has a car and no license and was like the police had no right to give me a ticket cuz im disabled then i have an even younger bro. that's has a.d.h.d. or whatever now she thinks he needs an check once a month now a days people can not survive like that she has never put her foot down and been a mom and to me it's like the easy way out my bro. still lives at home my mom is constantly telling him to be a jigalo however you spell it anyway she wants him to find a girl to take care of him but im i wrong for wanting my family to better themself ?
