well thats fine because your 18 your consider an adult, which means you are able to make your own decisions. No one is the boss of you, and no one can tell you who or who not to go out with. It's all up to you as long as you are happy with him thats all that should matter. Age doesn't provide happiness, its based on the two people that are in the relationship.

girls mature faster then boys and thats why girls seem to go for the older guys, unless they have daddy issues then its a much bigger age gap, I did the same thing when I was 17 and 18 and even a little younger but that fact is you are young once and you need to experience the difference in people whether its from age to personality you can do as you choose until you find the right one. Go with your instincts not what others say or do..

Age doesn't matter at all if you are happy with this person and you and him don't care then don't let it bother you. I'm 20 years old and I'm dating someone who's 30 years old. That's a 10 year difference other people have said remarks to me and I really don't care. I care about the guy I'm seeing more than other people telling me he's too old. Because in life you have to do what makes you happy. If this guy makes you happy then be with him. Age is only a number all it says about us is how long we've been on the earth! Do what makes you happy I did!!!

You might think you have a lot in common as far as hobbys but as far as experience thats a big difference when it comes to age...But you are considered an adult at 18 so it is your choice on who you should date. And sometimes age does matter, like he can still do things you can't even at 18 and I'm not just talking about drinking...

Not much of an age gap if you have genuine interests in common and can sustain intelligent conversations. My father was 22 years older than my mother, and they were genuine soulmates ... they stayed together until his death.

no, it's not bad. My current girlfriend just got out of a relationship with a 26 year old guy. (my girlfriend is 17) The only reason they split up was because my current girlfriend cheated on her ex with me. that's how we started going out. (I'm 15) She was really in love with him though, and they were going out for about a year before I showed up. The only reason she's with me (I believe) is because I'm really in shape. and he's kinda average... i guess...

No. It might work out. You are awfully young to NEED a steady or hubby though. Aren't you working or going to school? Experience a bit of life before settling down, is my advice.

i think you should wait for a year or two til you start dating older men so you are totally sure of his place in your life and have a more common schedule.. with school and all.
