I have 2 younger sisters (11 and 12) that have been taken away by dyfs before and they were returned to my mother since they were also being abused in dyfs by the foster parents. She is continuing to abuse the 12 yr old mentally and physically. She ran away today when my mother pushed her over the edge. I am seriously worried about her and would like to find her and take her to live with me. I have tried to get custody but the state says even though my mother is abusive she gets say over them. My sister wants to live with me and my husband and we want to take her but my mother wants to keep her as a meal ticket and continue to abuse her. Does anyone know of any loops holes that I may have missed or suggestions on how I might be able to get my sister out of this situation. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.

I met this guy on a blind date and we really hit it off. But on the third date he said he liked me but only wanted to be friends. But we still kiss all the time and keep fooling around. we have been together 5 years married for 3. when we first met things were great he always told me he loved me kissed me hello and goodbye goodnight etc.. we would sit and talk and just have a good time together our sex life was great and everything was perfect. Well now we dont kiss he sleeps in the living room and we have sex mabey once a month, he never wants to do anything together and im always alone while he sits in the garage working on his truck.. my wedding ring broke about 3 months ago (it was a cheap walmart special) and he still wont buy me a new one he says he doesnt have the money but he just spent a few hundred on another truck last week i dont know what to do i love him but i cant take it anymore and to top it all off we have a 4yr old somebody please give me advise ***********p.s serious answers only please

My friend talked to me about this and we decided it would be best for her if she got emancipated. Her home life is no doubt troubled and so are her parents. I think she should talk to someone about this to help her with this decision and guide her with this. Who should she talk to? A social worker? A therapist? Also, i know NOTHING about emancipation. So it would be great if you would give me some basics.

My bf hurts my feelings with just little things he says to me thats not even that serious and i feel like he's just taking my heart and stabbing it with a needle. I never use to feel like this, im much stronger than that but yet he gets to my weak side and i just get hurt off the smallest comments he says.
