If you had actual documentation like a diary or somin about when the abuse happens or how it happens for even 30 days or so written in there own writing would definitly help get em a digital cam to hide and phto the physical abuse during that time. above all don't let mom find out the more proof you have when you go to the cops the better it will be hard on them but let em know they have the pwer to get away and if the courts don't help have them go to the media with the diaries and photos whelps show up worse than they are on film. and no court wants to catch that much heat.
Good luck in however you handle this. I had to help somone in your shoes before it wasn't easy but we did it......

I am sorry for the situation that your sisters are in, the best thing to do would be to have you and your sisters report the abuse to the police and social services. What most likely will happen is that the children will be taken from the custody of your mother and placed within social services, while your mother is investigated, but if you let social services and the court know that you and your husband are willing to provide them with a stable household, they may grant you custody while the investigation is conducted.
Good luck to you and your sisters, please get a professional counselor to counsel you and your sisters, since they need to deal with this abuse and its aftermath that will touch them the rest of their lives. However,. hopefully with good counseling, and a lot of love and support, you and your sisters can learn to carry forward.

Knock on every door available in your state. I don't understand why if they were taken away from her before, were they allowed to return. If they were abused by your mom and the foster home also abused them, then the state steps in. If you have shown interest in obtaining custody of them, then speak to a lawyer that works pro bono, on a sliding scale, etc. Once abuse has been established it exist in a home that child is not returned to it. What state do you live in. If no one helps you, then try bringing light to this matter publicly, but be prepared for anything.

call the police and report the domestic violence, see if your community has a crisis center or something similar that can assist you or get a lawyer and have your mom declared unfit and sue for custody of your sisters also have your sisters keep a log to show the abuse and get a police report -- documentation will support the unfit claim. good luck

Call Child Protective Services or 911. You need to document all examples of abuse with dates and details.

Just contact child services. If your sister has any visible marks it is an open and shut case. She may not get to stay with you, but at least she'll be safe.
