Our bedroom is right across the hall from our children's bedroom. They are both early teens. When my husband and I are intimate - I am worried that my kids will hear us. What do you do? We are tempted to go to a hotel so we can at least be free one night.

This isn't as bad as it really seems. There is a playful level of intimacy that can be shared by the two of you even in that situation. Pretend like you are young and he's at your house and you're sneaking in some petting while your parents are upstairs. Keep it down but each of you should try real hard to make the others toes curl. It can be a lot of tun. The other thing is, you ARE married consenting adults. They know the deal just lock the door and enjoy quietly. There are so many couples that are separating and have worse issues. Your issue is great! A hotel should be saved for a really intimate memorable moment - mini-vacation, anniversary or some other celebratory event.

So, tonight, lock the door...get on and ride like the dickens and keep his mouth covered!! :o)

A clock radio right up against the door works too. It doesn't have to be loud at all. When they go to the door to listen the sound from the radio travels up the door. Suggestions...don't use mood music...as that will attract attention but don't use a talk show that is hilarious or interesting.

You need to be a little more open with times and places. Unfortunatley when you have little ones you need to take it when the opportunity comes, not always at night in your bedroom. that will also keep some spice in your love life as well. Not to mention, if you kids are teenagers, they already know about sex so dont be too uptight either.

You should have considered this sort of thing before having kids. The hotel idea is probably your best bet.

do it whenever they are out of the house. And be quiet.....at that age, teenagers listen for that kind of thing!!!
