She is out of town at a powerlifting meet and she just bombed out of the meet ( failed to get her 3 attempts). How do I comfort her and make her feel better being on the phone?

there is not much you can personally do, since as you know you were not at the meet, and you are not her, however show her some sympathy, let her know you care, and that your always there for her, this is something she needs to vent out on herself, give her some time and she will cool down on her own, but its important she knows shes not on her own,and dont rub it in on her as that will make her feel worse.

well u can just take her out of town..where there will b just the two f u..or else u cld take her out for dinner and explain to her that failuers r a part of life...they exist at evry step..n she doesnt have to look bak n feel bad..just keep moving ahead in a positive way!

you find some great tips on relationships and problems and how to deal with certain rejections in this article. dont baby her to much. this will make her feel worse. get her to focus on success next time and how she can better herself

tell her that when she gets back.that you will have a big surprise waiting for her at home.the day before she gets home have flowers delivered to her house.so that there waiting on her when she gets home.from her trip.good luck and i hope this helps

just talking to her and telling her that all is ok is just enough! knowing that you are always with her even though your far apart is very thoughtful indeed!
