my girl and i and known eachother for two years now but really only been together for the last 2 months. When we got together it was amazing, i thought nothing could take us apart. I was a gentlemen to her opening doors and spoiling the crap outta her. and all of a sudden yesterday she started acting weird and said she needed more space. what is that supposed to mean? i don't know if she got scared or what cause it was to perfect. but what do i do i have all these feelings for her and no where to put them cause where on hold. i want to wine and dine her, spoil her, and show her how great it is. but she said where moving to fast and she wants to take a step back. how can we take a step back from where we already are. I want her back so bad she means the world to me.

My son is a sophomore in high school and doesnt seem to take school very seriously. He just found out that he cannot play football this year because of last years grades. I really want him to be successful in school and football. He is smart and VERY athletic. It is not that he cannot do it, he is just choosing not to. I am trying not to put alot of pressure on him but as the new school year approaches, I want to help him anyway that I can to do well in school and to go on to bigger and better things in his life. Any ideas without pushing him further into the "slump"?? Help me out teenagers, let me know what you think.

In college, I met a guy. After knowing him for 2 days, the strangest thing happened - I had a sudden urge to hug him when I got in trouble with my parents. Anyways, over a short period of time, we became very close friends. We talked about everything for hours on end - life, family, friends, future goals, past experiences, childhood memories, etc.. We had kind of like a shared journal in which we wrote daily to one another about anything. Everybody thought we were sleeping together - which was not true. We never even kissed. Then one day, he told me that he was 35. I was 19. I would never have guessed as he did not look a day older than 21. But it never mattered to me becasue after all, we were just friends. We cared for each other in such a deep way that it hurt. Unfortuantely, we had a big fight one day and were not speaking. A few days later, I got news that he killed himself. That was 10 years ago. Since then, I am married. I can't forget him. Need Details? IM me.

I've dated lots of women who are messy, unorganized, and just plain lazy compared to me and a lot of my guy friends. Guys are stereotyped to be messy and unorganized but I feel it's the total opposite nowadays. I don't like when girls stay over because I feel they just make my place messy and I have to clean up after them. Does anyone agree?

It seems like as soon as women get serious about a guy they go off the diet and cancel the gym memberships. Whats the deal? Do they feel like they've got their man and don't need to keep up appearences?

but he has never been with a guy--not even kissed a guy. anyway, he told me that he has been thinking about a girl and wondering what it would be like to have sex with her. he is also a virgin. i told him that if he has been thinking about a girl and sex with a girl, then maybe he is confused about his sexuality. i just found out that i am "the girl". i am really freaked out about this b/c we are best friends and i have never thought about him in a romantic way. when we met about 10 years ago, he was straight and actually dated a lot of women. he "came out" about 3 yrs ago. i don't know what to do--he does not know that i know i am "the girl". what am i suposed to do? i dont want to loose my best friend.

We dated for over a year and a half. He came over today and we kissed and he hugged and he cried. He said he doesn't know what all this means but we can't get back together. I think he still loves me and has a little feeling of regret. Do you think he misses me?

He owns a 2004 Mazda RX-8 with only 6k miles. He rarely drives it and has another car that he drives all of the time so we don't need the RX-8. We plan on starting a family soon and if he keeps that car I will have to keep working instead of being a stay at home mom. Help!

I never wanted to be vengeful til now. She always talks about how better she is than a lot of people and everyone is stupid to her. She is a skeemer in many ways and she needs a taste of it bad. She is old enough to be his mom. He likes her money.

he is really ready for this. I am starting to fall in love with him and constantly worry about getting hurt. Although he has not done anything to make me feel this way, I am being cautious. Is it really possible to start a real relationship this soon (or am I just a rebound)?

I want to know why it's so infatuating to a married man and playboy magazines? I think I'm good looking, why would my husband want to look at that crap? Is he just oblivious as to his surroundings? Ladies and Gentlemen, would you think that this is an illness or an addiction? Same question goes out to Therapists who deal with persons like this, is it normal? Your answers are very welcome. Help us women out there to better cope with this situation. Thank you, Angela from Anderson, IN

Ok, here's the scoop.

My husband of just over one year is becoming more and more physically and mentally abusive. He pinned me against the wall a couple of days ago and almost hit me. Every time we argue it gets worse. (I KNOW I NEED TO GET AWAY, and I am in the processes of working something out. It may just take a couple of days or a week or two.)

Meanwhile, an old friend of mine, a guy I've known for a long time and that I am more then a little attracted too, is being a real gentlemen. I mean, I make advances and he wont respond because he doesn’t want to help break up the marriage. He doesn't understand it already over. Should I hold off? Why or why not. (Sanctity of marriage is not a valid reason, the sanctity was violated when I was abused.) How do I convince my friend that I am serious about a relationship with him?

Thanks for your 2 cents everyone!
