I am the father of two young girls, Jean (9) and Louisa (4), and have parental responsibility and for both my daughters. I have also been granted two contact orders from the family courts, both of which were ignored by my ex. After numerous returns to court seeking enforcement of the contact orders, the court appointed a guardian to represent my daughters and issued a prohibited steps order against my ex preventing her from removing the children from the jurisdiction of the court. During September 2005 my ex disappeared with my girls (evidence indicates she took them to Spain). The International Child Abduction unit has liaised with the Spanish authorities, but to no avail. An International arrest warrant is likely to be issued against my ex in the near future. I have not seen or had any contact with my girls since 15th May 2005. I miss them terribly and worry about there current welfare. Any suggestions about what to do next?
Please help if you can. Thank you.
