I totally agree, it was less difficult raising my daughter, there is nothing easy about raising children, especially these days, love my son dearly, but when boys get a certain age, I believe there relationship with mom, changes drastically, the love is still there, but it's different.

I think it's the same, I have a boy and a girl and where one is really good at listening or complying with something the other isn't... and they tend to be "easier" to raise in certain aspects. Not necessarily a gender issue, but just their personalities. I also think if there are siblings involved, the age difference makes somewhat of an impact as far as behavior goes. (One might lash out because of the other, etc...)

I always thought raising boys would be easier, and it is in lots of ways. However my 10 and 8 year old boys have tested my nerves to the end over the past 3 days. My heart is broken, because I thought they were so well behaved (but I actually got to see their behavior this weekend), I am embarrassed and hurt. But I imagine that girls can cause their parents pain as well. GOOD LUCK!

I have two boys 5 and 2. And I pray that girls are easier! Boys seem to be much more mechanical always setting up stuff using whatever they can find to use for launching a hot wheel off of something. There much more relaxed in my opinion then a girl would be.

I found it easier to get my daughter out of diapers, easier to teach things, but in general I would have to say that my boys were easier to raise because you can but little shorts and tees on boys and send the them on there way,but not a little girl. They have to have the best.

I only had boys so I can't compare but after watching my sister raise her two daughters I'd have to say she had it tougher in some respects but overall, boys are more work and worry I think.
Girls tend to use common sense more often than boys and not using good common sense cause more problems than any other one thing in raising children.

Well, I suppose it'd different for every parent but for me, raising my daughter was much easier than raising my two sons in some ways.

A girl! And not just because I don't have a son, my sister has 8 children, 4 of each, and I see how hard the boys are....I don't think I could do it!
