I am the father of two young girls, Jean (9) and Louisa (4), and have parental responsibility and for both my daughters. I have also been granted two contact orders from the family courts, both of which were ignored by my ex. After numerous returns to court seeking enforcement of the contact orders, the court appointed a guardian to represent my daughters and issued a prohibited steps order against my ex preventing her from removing the children from the jurisdiction of the court. During September 2005 my ex disappeared with my girls (evidence indicates she took them to Spain). The International Child Abduction unit has liaised with the Spanish authorities, but to no avail. An International arrest warrant is likely to be issued against my ex in the near future. I have not seen or had any contact with my girls since 15th May 2005. I miss them terribly and worry about there current welfare. Any suggestions about what to do next?
Please help if you can. Thank you.

Oh my gosh,,,I am so sorry for you. I unfortunatly do not have a solution or suggestion to your problem other than to pray. Keep pushing the authorities to do something and eventually you will see your girls. I really do wish you luck,

First off I would expand my search beyond Spain. She might have started there but she's not there anymore. She is going to bounce from place to place hoping to not get caught. So you need to expand your search to the whole world. Fax pictures and data about your girls and your ex to every police station known to man.
If money permits I would hire a private investigator that will work specifically on your case.
I would also contact a family law lawyer and see if you can file paperwork to get sole custoday of your girls. I think because of your ex abducting your children you'd be granted that. Also after your girls get returned to you (hoping for the best) and you have sole custody of the girls I would push for the courts to make any future visits chaperoned by someone of the court or a social worker.
Best of luck to you and I hope you find your girls.

my poor love. you have done evrything right that you can do in the court of law and the only thing that you can do now is put your faith in the legal system right now. i know that is little concillation when your girls have been taken from you but your only other option is to go vigilante and go to spain to track them down, but trust me the courts wont look on that with a kind eye. i think i have an idea what you are going through. my husband didnt see his girl for nearly three years and his heart was broken. eventually he won and sees his daughter so hang in there. keep your friends close and dont be too proud to cry or ask for help when you need it. you need the support of your family and friends. dont give up hope. you arent alone

Well, can't you do a missing persons report on your girls and ex. This way the FBI will get involve. Or if you know where they are go and get them. I know you said they might be in Spain and you would need to know exactly where they are but it's worth a try. Now my next question is why did your ex felt that she had to leave the country. It sounds like you need the FBI and local law enforcements in Spain to help you. Good luck.

1) you can look up her social security number to where she may be employed. also your daughters socials to track them down in their schools . 2) are the courts not helping you? are they registered with Amber ? you don't give much about what you have done so far are they with family members? it`s hard to list anything really without what have you done to go on. I'm sorry you're going through this! It's brutal!!
Get a lawyer and ask him/her what you can do - contact Interpol, and other international agencies.
If it were me - I'd contact the biggest newspapers in Spain, find out who is in charge of special interest stories for these papers and tell them your story.
ALSO - go the different TV channels in Spain and find out who's in charge of their "special interest" stories and tell them your story!!!!!
Hope that helps a little!
Good Luck!
Aloha!

Well you can see if she is using her national insurance number, the number you need to pay tax.
You could hire a private investigator.
You children will need to be in schools, see if they have been enrolled.
See if there is evidence that she has changed her name, or got married.
