Well you have a relationship with this person...albeit a platonic one. This person your friend is seeing cuts in on that. And maybe you like your friend a little more than you like to admit...maybe she may not be physically what you want but she probably gets you on a deeper level than most girls you date or know. Subconciously this girl is already your girl........friends all that time and even though you don't have all the trappings of a "boyfriend-girlfriend" relationship you basically have one. So maybe you should think twice about seeing her as just a friend...because yoru gut is saying otherwise. Good Luck...and have you ever seen the 80's movie "Say anything"??? Watch it....

You are a guy, right? OK, I am assuming you are a guy. This reminds me of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, when Harry feels that way about Ginny, who is his second-best girl friend, if you include Hermione. In the end Harry ends up dating Ginny. Spend some more time with her and see what happens. If this feelings continue, you may have to face the facts that YOU have a crush on her.

Maybe you should re-evaluate how you REALLY feel about her! If one of your guy friends had a date would you be jealous?? Most likely not. Spend some time away from her and see what thoughts go through your head about her - you will find your answers in those thoughts.

There's nothing wrong with you. What you're feeling is normal. She's your best friend and I'm sure up till now, her attention and free time has been with you and now it seems as if she has less time for you and more time for her bf. It's all a part of growing up and growing with each other. I'm sure one day, you'll have a bf of your own, and your time and attention from your best friend will have to be compromised somehow. You'll be okay.

theres nothing wrong with you, i had a guy friend like that and when he was going out with someone, i got kinda jealous. its most likely because #1, you dont want them to get hurt or you dont exactly love their boy/girl friends personality. #2, maybe deep down you really like them, even though you may not know it. #3, it could be that you dont want time taken away from you with your friend, or that you are scared a Little bit that they will "forget" about you while theyre not around.
dont worry, just be happy for your friend and maybe get to know their BF/GF. hope that helped a little...

It doesn't mean you like her, it probably means that you love her as your best friend and you dont want to loose her. Maybe you could try hanging out with more people, getting use to the idea that she doesnt have to be there 24/7.

if you have no intentions on dating her, then you need to cut the jealousy thang out, fa real! either you have some deep rooted feelings for her that you are not even ready to admit to yourself or maybe its just the fact that she is giving her attention to some other man other than you. either make a move or cut the jealousy out!!!!!

Why don't you date someone to take your mind off of who your best friend is dating.
