I am fixing to adopt a 9 year old boy and 10 year old girl.

We have no biological children. No friends who are close to us with kids.

What is "cool" and what do kids like at those ages?

My friend and her husband invited me and my husband to Mexico to hang out and have fun I have known her for 1yr and I think she is really cool .. I knew her husband liked sex cuzz that's all he ever wanted to talk about and somehow we all would end up at the adult store on the way home from going out .. ok thats cool whatever but we ended up going down to mexico and her husband asked my husband if he wanted to switch , he said we could all do it in the same room and it would just be for fun something different. my husband was like uhhmm .. NO so they were fine all the way back home and then that was it she stopped talking to me and her family stopped talking to us and there is just alot of tension .. I miss her alot and i have tried to talk to her but she blows it off . what should i do?

I am so pissed at my boyfriend for ruining my fourth of july since he made an a$$ outta of himself getting drunk and high(pot). Almost damaging my car and purposely starting a big argument with me and saying very hurtful things such his family never liked me and they laugh at him for being with me. I have been ignoring and brushing him off since then. I dont even want him to touch me that's how angry i am and i have never been that angry. He is trying to talk to me and act like nothing has happened.

Ok so this is me, ,21 years old (I know it must sound kind of ood) , cristian, been three years in medical school, in honors, have a 24 inch waist and a body that practically everyone I know Admires, all the guys Iknow( married or single ) treat me nicely.I play piano, sing in a choir, go to church and hang out with my friends, my parents trat all my friands nicely, and my mom is really concerned about why I ve never ha a Boyfriend.So i literraly have a pretty good social life, can it be something wromg with m Could it be something wrong with my convictions? or are men afraid of smart people?

okay i just asked a question about wether or not it is wrong to want to spend alot fo time with your boyfriend/partner alot of people said no however sometimes people need me time which I agree but at the same time if this person is at work all day they are away from you right? they should want to spend the evening with you and the weekends especially when you have kids involved, he is okay with me going out with my friend in fact he encourages it but whenever he wants to I get upset but I only do this because he has cheated on me once before last summer and now my trust for him is barely there I love him dearly and I did forgive him but I dont trust that if he does out with his friends that involve females that he won't cheat on me again with one of them, or that he won't come home. I just don't want a repeat, is that wrong of me?? HELP please i want to believe him when he says that he loves only me and wants to be with only me.. why can't i get my mind to believe it.

Strongly enough my friends have taken somewhat of an interest in my "personal" life. Apparently somehow getting a girlfriend is somehow going to make my life a lot better, its somewhat of a long story. The short version is, I've had one girlfriend my entire life, 4 years ago, and I'm 22 now, so I've been having somewhat of a problem with getting rejected by people...rather often....really rather often.

Anyways my friends said that maybe I should start off with something easier and go to a bar and concentrate on the somewhat "less sober" women. I'm not really sure this is a good idea, but then again trying to be myself didn't work, and I'm not sure the treating women approach (although it DOES work) is my thing.

I’ve got somewhat of a social phobia so taking to people, especially women really isn’t easy for me. And no I'm not looking for sex, just some type of relationship.

I am having a problem sorting out which feelings I should hold on to and which to go ahead and let go of. I'm still in love with my first love from when I was 17 and 18. We were together for just over a year. I did a realy stupid thing and lost him at prom. I thought I wanted to be older and go out with someone who was 22. Needless to say, I was trying to be something I wasn't. We tried to get back together a couple of times over the next year and a half but we never seemed click well after that.

Since then, we've both had two kids each and been married and divorced once. It seems as though neither of us can find just the right person to make us happy. I am currently engaged to the man I've been with for four years now, and I love him dearly, but I catch myself thinking of my first love every day. I always have. We talk every couple of months, and the last time I spoke with him, he said he still loved me and always have. It tore me up, and now I don't know what to do.

My mother claims that because she's 'country' she cusses and that because I'm 'city' I should just lighten up. She always refers to a bowel movement as sh..... i, t. That word is just as bad as any other cuss word to me. We try to say respectable words around my daughter and my mother always tries to work in the sh word in many conversations. I don't understand why and when I confront her about it she gets mad at me and won't talk to me. Any advice? Suggestions?
