We're getting engaged, and we've picked out my engagement ring -- we are being a little untraditional though because he wants to wear an engagement ring as well. So he'll have 2 rings as well when we're married. I think the idea is really romantic. But I need to figure out what kind of rings will look good together on a man. I can't decide on flat, rounded, thin, thick ... any suggestions?

FYI, for his engagement ring...I have decided on a celtic pattern for the outside because he is irish and the patterns are interwoven, symbolizing connectedness and eternity. Our wedding bands are going to be plain platinum.

I have a 5 year old autistic son who is non-verbal. He, like many autistic children, will sometimes start laughing long and hard for no apparent reason. Are there any autistic people out there who can shed some light on this? Is something actually funny, or is it just an undirected urge to laugh?

we have never gotten along since like I was 15. I can never do anything to please him, at least very few times if it does happen. I have never been close to him and all I ever wanted was to be a daddys girl....he is emotionally abusive and when I was younger a little physically abusive. I mean. In the real world, we aren't airbrushed and we might have a few extra pounds but if we are attractive in the face and average in the body and you claim to love us, is there any let down that we aren't covergirl material when the clothes come off? I guess it just goes back to the society comparison thing. Bottom line...how do you feel about small boobs, a few stretch marks or the like? Obviously this question is for real men and not the teenie boppers online.

Her mind is totally on having a boyfriend. I've had the mother/daughter talk, but it obviously didn't work. She seems obsessed with boys. How can I persuade her to find out who she is and what she want to become in life without keeping her locked up in her room until she turns 18? I really like this guy,we have known each other for over three years.We always got along well and were friends.Recently I divorced and we ran into each other and hung out a couple times then ended up having sex.He works out of town and only comes in maybe once a month, so I didnt see him for awhile then ran into him the other day.A big smile came on his face and he acted like he was happy to see me,we hung out for hours.But the thing is,when I try to call him he never returns my calls.I dont hear from him or see him unless we run into each other (live in small town) but he always acts glad to see me.I dont want to waste my time on him if he is just using me,but I really like him.What should I do?

My ex-fiance and I have been broken up for 9 months. We have both tried dating other people but neither one of our other relationships have worked. I know that I still love him and that he loves me too but there are other factors that are keeping us apart. My parents don't approve b/c he is of a different race. I am married with 3 kids, he is married with 2 kids. We just have this crazy crazy attraction to each other. He is 7 years my senior. I believe his marriage is a good one. Mine is good for the most part. I have NEVER EVER even thought outside this marriage until I met this man. And it isn't really just his looks. The threat would be calling her son on the phone to see how they were doing and then asking him to come over once in a while to help her with some things. Would anyone really feel this to be a threat to their marriage? Would you divorce your husband if he refused to stop seeing his mother?
