Sorry, I agree with your friends (assuming you are the 18-year-old and the guy is 25). If you were 25 and he was 32, it wouldn't be such a big deal. But at 18, you are barely a woman.

Its not a huge age difference. And if your friends weren't so busy analyzing your love-life, They would have their own and already know that. Its none of their business who you are in a relationship because that's YOUR love life, Not theirs. It also proves how immature they are to think that age is something you should look at when you're in love. No one can help it. They aren't your friends if they have a problem with the decisions made on being with a 18/25 person.

Legally, nothing. Morally, the 25 year old has significantly more life experience than the 18 year old, and needs to make sure that they don't use this advantage to manipulate or otherwise mistreat the 18 year old, but as long as they do that I think it's OK. Practically, I'd say the odds of it lasting were lower than for two 25 year olds, but not that different than for two 18 year olds.

At that age difference there are big differences. A twenty five year old is getting more serious in life and eight teen is still young. If the difference was 30 and 37 both people would be at a similar maturity level.
Good luck with whatever you decide,

Well since 18 is considered adult I don't think there's anything really wrong with that...in my opinion it depends completely on the individuals involved in the relationship. Some people may find it weird but that shouldn't make a difference to you if you care about each other. If it works for you then go for it and I hope things work out.

Nothing is wrong with it. Unless the 25 has the some doubt about the 18's maturity level.

It isn't that big of a deal actually. Just as long as you are happy what should age matter. My friend and her husband have almost a 20 year age difference, and they are always smiling and laughing together.

About 7 Years. It's not really a big deal. It just depends on how mature you are. More than likely, if he's not dating someone his age, then he just wants some young piece of a*ss. And after a year or so, he'll get tired of you and move on to the next young piece of a*ss. Trust me! He can say anything to make you believe different, but because your so young, you'll believe anything he tells you. Who knows, maybe he's different, but I doubt it.

First of all yuckkkkk!!! Ur friends r right!!!!. Second of all it wrong to be w/ somebody thats 7 yrs older . U should sit down and think about it. It's like a 12 yr old being w/ a 19 yr old.But i can see that age dosn't matter when it comes to love.

Nothing, if you don't mind being in a cage. 18 )eight teen) is teenager. Teenagers are technically children. Teen hood is the last stage of child hood, in terms of years, and ends after 19. 19 is the last teen number. 20 and older is adult hood. Have you heard about all those teachers, ect who were reported for having sex, with a student? You aware that they went to jail? And that one or two, preivious such people married the student, after getting out of jail?
