I really like this guy,we have known each other for over three years.We always got along well and were friends.Recently I divorced and we ran into each other and hung out a couple times then ended up having sex.He works out of town and only comes in maybe once a month, so I didnt see him for awhile then ran into him the other day.A big smile came on his face and he acted like he was happy to see me,we hung out for hours.But the thing is,when I try to call him he never returns my calls.I dont hear from him or see him unless we run into each other (live in small town) but he always acts glad to see me.I dont want to waste my time on him if he is just using me,but I really like him.What should I do?

While he may just be a different type of social being than yourself, and I certainly don't want to add to any pain that you may be feeling about this situation, I'm inclined to say that it sounds as though your feelings are probably justified. Someone who is truly interested in really 'being' with you would return calls and jump at the chance for conversation. Sounds like your guy is more into the whole casual relations kind of thing.
But, you've been through a lot and if that's not what YOU want, then don't settle. Be true to yourself and you'll be really surprised at what can happen! Hang in there!

I think that you are probably trying to rush into things and if you want things to work out with this one you will have to juts let nature take its course and see if he ends up contacting you... if not then chalk the whole thing up to some good well deserved sex and move on.

Sounds like there is no future for you and him, even if you care for him a lot. Letting him use you is not going to make him fall in love with you.

He likes and loves you, but is anxious. Be his gf, if he proposes, say yes, and don't change your mind. Maybe he's too busy to call you. Email him, ask why he doesn't call. I'll bet you a pizza, he will tell you, that my theory is correct.

he just wants sex. you need to move on unless you are okay with being the booty call, whenever he sees you. he's probably with someone else when you are not around. sorry, the truth can hurt.

you should just ask him why he doesn't answer you calls. if he so happy when he sees you, then he should be happy when your call comes in. unless he is being happy with someone else.
