Well there's this girl and she is friends with one of my friends and me and her don't get along very well and we got in this REALLY BIG fight one time and ever since i've been really nice to her, BUT she has been saying crap behind my back and once made me cry for two days straight!!! she pretends she's my friend, but behind my back she acts like a total b@#%$!! i want to tell her off but i don't know what'll happen!

Sounds like she needs to be confronted in front of lots of people (witnesses), while you discuss the problem with her>>> meaning>>> she needs to be made to face up to her hateful attitude & her back-stabbing ways.
Back-stabbers generally don't like public confrontations (to be humiliated publicly)... they don't like their own laundry hung out in public.
She needs to be taught a lesson>>> if she can't take it, she'd better not dish it out.
Tell her off, but keep your composure (be noble, use self-control) while you talk to her in a mild-mannered way, a calm, sweet-mannered, angelic way.
She might just show herself for who & what she really is... if she does, then she'll bring shame on herself, because other people would be witnessing>>> her bad self.
She may realize that it could cause herself to be humiliated publicly if she behaves badly & maybe she'll quit behaving that way.
It might just cook her goose, then she could simmer in her own juice>>> destroy her bad attitude by showing good attitude toward her. Then, she could be annoyed with her own self>>> because all she'll gain if she's hateful to you in front of witnesses is... a bad reputation.
You've been nice to her & made an effort to make ammends... she's apparently a grudge-holding kind of person, unforgiving, unmerciful.
If she starts yelling, just turn & walk away, & leave her there to face herself.
Leave her to face those who are witnessing her behavior... then it wouldn't do her any good to try & deny the fact that she's a hateful back-stabber, because too many witnesses would know the truth about her.
You could start the conversation by saying "I apologize about the big fight we had."
Then the ball is in her corner... see what her reaction is, but don't forget to keep your composure (verbally), regardless of what she says.
But... if the verbal discussion doesn't work & she starts a physical fight with you, then make sure to protect yourself by making sure you beat the stuffing out of her... she'll get what she deserves.
Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst.
Or... you could completely ignore her & all her back-stabbing words... stick your nose up at her & her words, & just go on with your life in a different direction.
It's your decision... the choice is up to you.

She's not your friend then and you don't need "friends" like that in your life. Just cut off your relationship with her. Get her out of your life - drop her.
