Of course you can. Love is not simple enough to encompass only one set of guide lines as to what you fall in love you. It is up to you to choose. There is no wrong path for your life..

I have to say No, there is only one soul mate per life time, what I think is that when you are young and in love for the first few times in your young life, that the feelings that you are feeling is so real to you it makes you feel like you are in deep love, but when you do find your true soul mate you really know it, it's like your soul mate completes you in every way as you too completes them.

Yes and no. I've studied many religions, philosophy, etc over the years. Basically, what I believe now is that everyone has one soul mate. BUT the odds of you meeting your soul mate in a lifetime is very very slim, probably one out of several million. You should not expect to meet your soul mate in life; very few people do.
However, there are other people, kindred spirits, that are not your true soul mates but are very close.. these are spirits that you are meant to share you life with. Sometimes they are your lovers, sometimes your best friend. Other times, it might be your children, your family members. Hope that made sense!
My husband and I are VERY close, we are very likely kindred spirits.

No A soul mate is someone that you and that person feel just right for,and there is no other in the world like that person,a soul mate is someone who knows what you want, what you are thinking and also who knows your every desire, and a person who can fulfill all of those for you.
A soul mate is that just right someone special, and you will know that someone when you finally meet them.
Be patient, that perfect someone is out there for everyone.

Of course you can. Different people can connect for different reasons and there is a lot of variety out there.
If you think you've let THE ONE pass you by, don't worry about it. There is certainly more than one.
If you are trying to decide between two potential soul mates, . . . good luck. :-)

Not if that really exists.
The belief also is, most people never really find their true soul mate. But, they still can do very well.

Yes. My Soulmate died of cancer. I grieved his loss so deeply that I thought I would die myself. He was also my best friend, and my lover. I expected to live the rest of my life alone. I knew that no one could ever match what we had....and then I met the man who is now my husband, my soulmate, my best friend and my lover. We met in an unlikely place, and pragmatic as I usually am, sometimes I look at his beloved face, and know that he was sent to me by someone who also loved me.

No...The origin of the term "soulmate" is from mythology. It says we all originally had 2 heads, 4 arms and 4 legs, and an angry god tore us in half, keeping us forever searching for our other half.
