I have noticed from reading postings about weddings and the planning of weddings that there seem to be so many more things to think about that I had originally thought, I have never heard of half the things mentioned, like Bridal Showers, bridal shower favours, welcome bags, where does it stop? I don't even think I want to give out favours at my wedding, it all seems like a lot of added expense!! We are paying for the guests accommodation, for their meals and drinks, I don't think our budget is going to stretch to buying them gifts as well. Would you be disappointed in not getting a favour?

My husband wants to start a busniess with his friend promoting DJs at clubs. I told him that I support him in whatever he is doing but he should try out the first event first to see how the outcome is. Well, the first event costs only 2000.00 and hasn't happen yet and he already has the second event planned out and will cost him 7000.00. When i found out about it I was furious. I told him that if he doesn't get anything out of the either one of the event, I'm leaving him. Am I being logical or selfish here? Oh we have two children too.

If you spent most of your life overweight and had a boyfriend who loved you for who you were...then, say you lost a lot of weight and other men began approaching you more and (of course) they look so so good & say things about you that make you feel amazing but you know deep down that they wouldn't even give you a second glance if it were 2 years ago....my question is, would you stay with your old flame or take a chance and get with a new guy even though you aren't sure he would stick around if you gained weight again?

My friend took something I said and twisted everything to suit her. She then told another person the revised version of what I originally said. Now this other person hates me and refuses to talk to me because she thinks I said something which I really didn't. Meanwhile, she has made no effort to contact me even though she knows her actions have caused me alot of grief. Everyone says don't bother with her anymore but I want to give her a piece of my mind. I am not a racist or anything but I am puertorican and I respect black people but when it comes to being attracted to someone of the opposite sex all the men I have liked have been white or a little tanned like me, and a lot of black men have checked me out but I don't feel attracted to them.

In my country there is nothing wrong with that and people don't call it interracial dating. Personally I don't care, but do people find it wrong for a puertorican girl to date a complete white man.

Is there's atraction then who cares right?

My 33 year old bf is getting a brand new Harley XL 883C. Its gonna cost us 17k when everything is all paid(bike+fin+war+etc). This includes 1k we are paying as a down payment. I co-signed on it but got to thinking, should I be doing this? This is why, he's 33 and I'm 23 we live with my parents. He's still married to his wife(she ran away from rehab + now we can't find her for a divorce and it will cost $600 to do.) We owe 1k to my parents from when I was hit by a car and I lost my job, and 2k for hospital bills from when I tired to kill myself. I just started a great job that pays well. His reason for wanting the harley is that his car that we just paid off is old and almost falling apart and he's worried that it will stop working, and that he's always wanted one. I think that we shouldn't buy the bike now but use the money to get rid of some debt and for him to get divorced and us married. I know this looks like a show from Springer but what do you think?

I have been going out with this guy for about 6 months. We broke up and decided to take a break and now were back together. I don't know if I should trust him tho because one day i found at least a few girls iming my bf and there all flirting with him and he's flirting back. When I asked him about it, he lied to me and said that it was nothing and that he loved me more. This really hurts because to me it sounds like he's lying to me and possibly using me. So im friends with this girl and were not super close, but im worried about her. My mother-in-law is a major bit** and she is ALL WAYS trying to do things to hurt me and to come in between me and my husband. She says smart comments about me and treats me like I am not good enough for her son. Me and my husband have been married 2 years and we have been together since I was 16 years old. I have NEVER cheated on him or treated him badly, all I have ever done is treated him like a king and do everything I can think of to make him happy, but yet she still hates me and tries to make me miserable. Okay....I've been seeing this guy for the past 7 months. We met eachother after we both had just gotten out of long term relationships. He's been saying from the beginning that he wasn't looking for another relationship. At the time I felt the same, but after all that we've been through and have done, I've found myself wanting to be with him.
