5 hours - too long to be looking out the window all the time! If you have long legs, take the aisle, and store all your carryons overhead. If you are a a sleeper - take the window, the side can brace your head so you don't get whiplash from the nods. There is also more room under the seat for the window than the aisle, so you can stow your portable DVD there until you are ready to watch...

Definitely the window seat. If you set on the aisle seat there is nothing to do or look at. The window seat you can look out and see the beautiful sites. I love the window seat.

If you need more leg room and/or feel you need to go to the bathroom more than once, I would take the aisle seat. Window, if you like to see the scenery and figure not to move around the airplane that much.

Take the window. I always like to be able to look out when I'm flying. I just flew to Vegas and it was neat looking out the window seeing the Grand Canyon.

The window, unless you think you are going to need the bathroom. Then I would suggest the aisle.

you should take the aisle seat because then you can get up easier and plus its only five hours (its not that long). See if you sat at the window seat you would be stuffed especially if someone fat was there. (Jk jk jk)

Depends. If you like the view and aren't too tall, the window. If you are tall, definitely the aisle so you'll have room to stretch your legs.
