We know that global warming is destroying earth. The earth becomes more unfriendly by the day, and only few people try to reduce global warming, most of us don't even care about global warming. So eventually the earth will become an unfriendly planet. How long will the earth becomes an unlivable place for humans if there aren't any environmental actions done? What's the best action to counter it?

A regular light bulb is "inefficient" , The bulk of that inefficientcy is heat.

I live in Canada, the bulk of my light usage is in the winter.
Any home built in the last 20 years has excellent insulation.
Thus any energy saved by installing cfcs is offset by more Natural gas usage heating the home. What do you think?
