Most any town of any size has one or business who buy scrap metal. There has been a huge demand in China for scrap metal. The property I own has a family dump on it that has been used for decades. Some friends of mine started hauling the stuff to the scrap metal place last summer. They even take rusted metal, old cars, whatever.

Scrap yards will buy it. Not sure they pay much. I talking the big yards. The small places that buy Aluminum and Copper mostly not pay as much as the bigger scrap yards.
