Putting to one side the practicalities or problems caused by bad weather etc. I love the sharp frost, bright sunshine, snow - the deeper the better, lovely sunsets, sitting indoors by the fire with hot chocolate with toasted crumpets while listening to favourite music. Then there's walking with the family and the dog (if you haven't got a dog, borrow one) through snow, getting ready for Christmas, enjoying the day itself, clearing the decorations away before 12th Night. Yes, even that can be fun too.

I like the bright sunny days when there are no leaves on the trees and bushes to block out the light. I love the smell of the frosty mornings, the sight of the holly leaves coated in 'sugary' rime. I love all the birds who come into the garden for their winter feed of nuts and bacon rinds. Sledging down the hills when it snows, sitting by an open fire when your fingers are frozen stiff from throwing snowballs, drinking hot blackcurrant with a dash of whisky! Yes, I think I love Winter!

everything, Christmas, snow, being in a warm house whilst in freezes outside, and watching the animals (rabbits and guinea pigs) having a small taste of the snow while you walk in the crunchy snow. I also love the sound of snow when you step on it. it gets annoying in a festive sort of way (you probably won't understand me but then again maybe you will) I love a sunny christmas, when its sunny but freezing and your opening your presents by your real christmas tree, and listening to Cliff Richards 'Mistltoe and Wine,' and smelling a fir, christmas, delicate smell of Christmas. I also love the trees when they are bare and the whole world is white, it gives a sort of refreshing feeling that the new year is coming, and it'll be all fresh and new, and crisp under your feet. that is what I truly love about winter, winter is my favourite season!

Snow and Christmas. :)
However where I live at the moment, Christmas is in summer. And it doesn't even snow in winter time, we just get a lot of rain and wind.

Snow.

I like how it blankets everything, wipes away the ugliness with pure white, prepares for the new year, makes the landscape go to sleep...
