Question: What is the best thing to do with fallen leaves, instead of burning them?

Question Details:

Deleted Answer: ASK ANY TREE they have been dealing with fallen leaves for millions of years ,so one can assume that they know best. A tree in its life time produces most of its own soil with the leaves it discards . They rot and turn to compost under ,what is called the drip line ,the outer circumference of its crown. The leaves conserve the humidity and under the humid even temperature cover develop the earth worms . The worms eat the rotting leaves and with the micro organisms breakdown the leaves adding their wastes and produce the best compost know on this planet , That is why forest soil is so rich ,but it is not very deep depending on the age of the forest . The leaves that drop during the whole year only produce a cover of compost a few millimeters thick. So if you rake

I believe that people would eat a lot less meat if they HAD to kill it themselves. Eating intensively farmed meat AND poultry is really damaging to the Environment. Would you still eat your Thanksgiving or Christmas Turkey if you had to kill the turkey and dress it yourself?

My Father tried to convince me that it takes more energy to make the new energy saving florescent light bulbs than they save. I don't know where he heard that, but I doubt that's true. Does anyone know for sure?

Since Japan is going to hunt the Humpbacks in International Waters, and International Waters belong to all nations, therefore any national sanctioned by the UN can legally send warships to forcibly stop the Japanese whaling fleet. If the Japanese are really interested in doing "research", just ask them to bring the slaughtered whales to some third country and do their research there, they will immediately stop their shusi and shasimi hunting.

BOYCOTT JAPAN. Thier perverse and mindless "scientific" whaling HOAX is continuing unabated. They do "finning", where the top fin of sharks is sliced off, and the rest of the shark is thrown in the ocean to die. They just finished slaughtering countless MINKE WHALES.
They trap and slice the throats of dolphins.
BARBARIC and UN-EVOLVED behavior.
Will YOU help by boycotting any and all products from JAPAN?
Cars, electronics, EVERYTHING.
Please make your voice heard and stop this sub-human behavior before they kill our oceans.

In my area, aluminum cans, glass containers and plastic bottles collected all in the same bin. How do they get sorted later? I can't imagine they get thrown together in one mix.

I have recently come across a theory that proposes that most of the trails left in our skies by airplanes are not normal but purposely left there for alterior motives. I can kind of see how this makes sense since normal "contrails" should disappear while I have first hand seen how these "chemtrails" stay in the sky long after they have been left there and sort of become clouds themselves thereby not adhering to the normal behavior of regular contrails. Also for some reason these trails are 99% of the time left in either parallalel or grid patterns which is very odd. There are also some people that theorize that chemicals these sprays are made of are very harmful to people and are a causing a wide variety of bad symptoms. Is this true? And if it is what can be done to stop this?
