I know the cost is high right now. If we could get federal funding to help that would be great. I think it would be a small step in attacking climate change. I do think that it is a step in the right direction.

Oil Palm plantations are growing at rapid rates in the tropical nations of Indonesia and Malaysia. These lands were once covered by upwards to 90% rain forest just a century ago, while that has declined presently to less than 50%. This is due largely to oil palm plantations. Palm oil has been used historically as a cooking and cosmetics additive with other uses. However, the palm oil industry is now booming with its realization of clean energy. Europe has turned to this clean energy in hopes of reducing the global warming problem. Palm oil is about 8-10 times as efficient as ethanol for power. However, rainforests are being slashed and burned at record rates in these nations, to make room for more palm oil plantations. These areas which were a rich are for trees and plants as well as animals are now being turned into an oil palm monoculture for profits. Think about how the atmosphere is effected when dense rain forests are being burnt down at blinding speeds.

If one offers governments a means to incrementally lower emissions that at the same economicalyl enables poorer communities but government takes no notice should we take them serious about emissions reduction.
If one offers a solution about water in out back towns and government takes no notice should we listen to them about the drought?
If one offers a means that helps the non producive quintile of society to gain an accumulation of wealth that reduces emissions and political parties ignore this should we take them serious about their social aims.
If in theory there is not any need to ever again connect a building to the grid so all buildins can be self sufficient in power and governments ignore this should we take governments serious.
If politicians are offered a means to improve the care of the aged but they ignore this should we take them serious about aged care policies.
How can governments reduce emissions when it is actively increasing debt?

Answer these three questions, please:

When so solar panels generate power, day or night?

When do people usually charge the batteries of their electric cars, day or night?

Since cars charge at night and solar power comes in the day, where does the electricity that charges your car come from?

P.S. Another question you should ask yourself that goes along with this theme: When do you turn the lights on in your house?

What implications does a reversal of the earth's magnetic field have versus global warming? What would happen if the magnetic field reverses before global warming effects occur. How should the US spend its resources - more on global warming or more on preparing for a magnetic reversal?

That one generation ago everyone agreed that we could destroy the world anytime with the nuclear weapons we had then. We'dd poisoned numerous rivers, streams and lakes to the point nothing lived in them. One river actually caught fire spontaneously. Military folks seeded the clouds over the Ho Chi Minh trail and made it rain like the devil. The air wasn't fit to breathe in any city in the US. Now suddenly we are being told we have no influence at all. We can burn all the forests, poison all the water, and kill every other living thing, yet the earth will just go right on and nothing will change. We're told it's normal to do these things, everything is controlled by "natural cycles" and there can be no consequences. We don't need the opinion of people in any other country, the opinion of some of the Americans takes priority over all other people in all other countries and most Americans. What the heck happened? How could things have changed that much in such a short time?

Some critics of my claim that Global Warming is a lie became rather abusive i.e' Try reading the scientists' reports instead of the media'

Except for the online magazine the Nottinghamshire Times the media seem to be revelling in publishing global warming scare stories.

As for reading scientific reports, I do frequently, and the comments I make are from those reports that are freely available on the internet.

The famous Hockey stick Graph is another dodgy dossier, Al Gore had to eliminate the medieval warm period to make it look as though there had been a sudden rise in the earth's temperature. Not true, it's a lie.

Green taxes are nothing but a tax levied by deception, and the Czech President was right. "Green Zealots are a bigger threat to democracy than the communists."

Many times GW believers are told they have an aggenda, world view or some desire to create a new world order.

If you believe in manmade global warming, do any of these attributes apply to you?

I'm talking about the flimsy paper ones that children sometimes use for cutting and decorating or that are sometimes put into baskets for more durability when eating on them.
I'm sure if you only ate a sandwich on the plate it would be but say you ate something messy like pasta with marinara sauce or ice cream.

Have they not looked at an atlas recently?
Have they not seen the size of the UK?
Have they not noticed how much green there is and how the population is crammed?
More important, have they not noticed there is NO MORE INDUSTRY LEFT!

The majority of pollution comes from heating and vehicle exhaust. Aircraft disperse high in the sky however to curtail travel now would be a sin and a phony tax does not resolve the issue! Everyone is already paying too much for fuel and we cannot even get the cost of the Iraq war to date !

This travel tax is only going into the government's coffers. No complaint from the electorate and there will possibly not be either as new taxes are introduced.
