OK, you have probably heard a lot of people say that Global Warming is just a natural cycle, and that there's nothing we can do to stop it from occurring. While there is some truth to that (Global Warming is a natural cycle, and it's going to occur no matter what) there's something else out there that's messing up this natural cycle, and is making it like nothing the world has ever seen before. That new factor is human activities. Human activities directly affect the greenhouse effect (which directly affects Global Warming), you see greenhouse gases a natural in the atmosphere to keep us from freezing over, but since the beginning of the industrial age, we (humans) have added excess greenhouse gases into the atmosphere that aren't suppose to be there (and the more we add the harder it is for the earth to remove them). These excess gases trap more heat and release less causing the whole earth to heat up (a.k.a. Global Warming) this is NOT good because the slightest change in the earth's climate systems can affect the entire thing. Causing new climate patterns to emerge that we may not be able to adapt to (and about 1/3 to 2/3 of the worlds species as well).
But there is still hope. We currently have all of the technology, money, man power, and resources we need to EFFECTIVLEY slow Global Warming back down to its modest warming over thousands of years.
To get more information, evaluate your daily impact, and to find out how you can start reducing your daily impact (cheaply) go to climatecrisis.org and/or think.mtv.com and/or nasa.gov and/ or http://liveearth.msn.com/green/myths
And if this still isn't working for you then I have a question for you. In about 30 years (if humans haven’t decide to change our ways, go green, and slow down the effects of Global Warming to its natural rate) and the effects of Global Warming have set in so far that there's nothing we can do or any one after us can do to reverse what WE have done, and my children/grandchildren and you children/grandchildren have to live with the horrible effects What are you going to say? What are you going to say when they ask you, "What were you thinking? Why didn't you do anything?"
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO SAY?

Well that in itself is a multi layer question that has a need for address. Global warming is really a fundimental term and should be global decay instead. But to help answer your question i will give you what has happened over a short period of time ok. First -our world population has grown to 6 billion and will soon reach 9 billion(more resources being used and produced). Two -an increase in dark water and land (absorption of heat). Three - loss of tropical rain forest to build farms in third world countries (loss of environmental filter). I could go on and on but this is the main reason for global decay. What confuses most people about global warming is the facts are still comming in and we have pushed the earth past it's safety net. When a volcano erupts a big explosion can cool the earth as much as 4 degrees globely and atmospheric dust can even cause an iceage. The volcano in yellowstone national park is huge and may erupt any time now and cause a climate change or it may not what i am trying to say is we think everything is infinate but in reality it is more finite. we as a people must first dispose of or petty arguments and concentrate on reality before it is to late, but we have lost control of the amount of carbon and peroxides we dump into the air. Freon used in airconditioners is still being realeased by auto-wreckers who don't care and this is decaying the ozone layer and we know that. You see first we have to have a major upset to life befor we can make people care about our future -that is the way of the human race. We have to get bit or stomped on before we realize -well i guess i shouldn't have done that huh. Oh well i guess i will see you someday in the next life, maybe we will get it right then.

Global Warming is caused by the carbon dioxide emissions. One big one is the use of gas. it was created millionz of years ago when there was alot of carbon in the air, then somethin happend (like whats happining now) and was formed some VERY sientifical way. And now we are harvestin all of it and putting it in our air. http://globalwarming-facts.info/50-tips.html this is a good website that shows how much carbon dioxide u can save by doing things. Oh and the carbon dioxide heats up the planet, did u know the global temp has gone up 1 degree?!? thats awful if we go up 1 more were never going to be able to come back.

As the concentration of greenhouse gases grows, more heat is trapped in the atmosphere and less escapes back into space. This increase in trapped heat changes the climate and alters weather patterns, which may hasten species extinction, influence the length of seasons, cause coastal flooding, and lead to more frequent and severe storms.

The globe has been warming since the last ice age.
If it were not warming up, it would still be covered with ice.
So maybe the sun is responsible???
Or maybe it is just all those fires that the cave men used after they discovered what they could do with it.
If they hadn't discovered fire, the Earth would still be covered with ice??
Think about it.

Since there is no such thing as global warming-it is merely a political scam, the only thing remotely close to the cause of it is the Democrats that blah blah blah blah blah-cant keep their mouths shut

The USA is almost solely responsible for the problem. That's why you have 200 Americans in this section trying to say it ain't so.
