I believe that it's simply a hot cycle. Basically, the sun is just putting out stronger rays that warm the earth faster. You know what, if you want to here what I believe go here:http://stage6.divx.com/videos/search:the+great+global+warming+swindle

It's mind-control they're after not reducing greenhouse gases. The people are being made to feel guilty about this so-called emergency when they had little to do with creating it--yet the real culprits--BIG OIL and BIGGER GLOBALISTS---snicker away behind the curtain of guilt. It's time we said 'ENOUGH." Go bother the wealthy industrialists and get them to do ALL THEY CAN before you come to the average person and created new laws that will turn backyard barbequers into criminals.

I'm curious about the effects of this gas on the interior of engines, especially since the exhaust is water. Will this cause damage to an engines interior?

look at this latest example of hypocrisy...when al gore's daughter picked up her little brother from jail yesterday, she was driving a v-8, 400 horse power, gas o' guzzlin, maserati..al gore raised that woman from a child and she's driving somthing like that...if he can't convince his own daughter to stop destroying the planet, how could hope to convince anyone else? yet, you enviromentalist fringers follow him blindly, attacking any findings that go against a silly movie...

I have seen programs on TV where they build fences for deer, and put reflective posts and kind of sound-alarms but what about smaller animals? I heard about frog-fences but what else? What could be done? Maybe some smelling road markings paint? Is anything like this happening in your community? Or do you know if somewhere they have sorted this problem out?

During Reagan's first (or second) oil crisis, gasohol was introduced. It was 30% cheaper than the old "regular" gas we used to be allowed to burn in the u.s.
The gasohol ( I used it) didn't freeze up in the winter like regular gas, it didn't require additonal paraphanalia (catalytic converters etc.) and my car ran just fine.

Now we have expensive unleaded, here in California. Our state government has mandated that a cancer causing agent be added to it (they just recently removed it; after ten years of drinking it in our groundwater).

And the "new" gasohol gets a new name and we are being told it's going to cost more...

I guess my question is.... why didn't we do anything over the last 25 years to introduce gasohol to California's system.. shoot, it would have saved us a bundle!

There are many alternative energy sources out there, but none that are readily available, cheaper then gas, and easy to retrofit on an automobile. Electric cars are great but have you seen any recharging facilities near your home? No.

Greetings,

The question I am posing is regarding Pollutant Standard Index (PSI) NOT Pound per Square Inch.
PSI is used to rate the air quality but are there any other definition other than this?
How is PSI calculated?

The 2nd question is,
how are Suspended Particulate (SP) and PSI related?
Are there theories or formulas which could connect them both?

The questions I posed are related to Environmental Studies.
I'll be looking forward to your replies.
If possible, references of sources to your answers would be a great help!

Thank you for taking your time to read and answering.

Why anydrous ethanol (max.1% water) is not directly used as fuel?
- Is it necessary to modify the engine to make it possible to run on anhydrous ethanol? If so, what characteristics of the engine need to be modified?

- If it's not possible to use anhydrous ethanol (max.1% water) directly as fuel, why is that?

Note: Current ethanol fuel are hydrated. Even E100 (sold in Brazil) is hydrated, 96% ethanol and 4% water.

1. Ban the erruption of all volcanos, one erruption produces more green house gasses that mankind has produced in 5,000 years.

2. Stop using all non photoelectric, nuclear, or hydroelectricly produced electricity. All other forms of power production produce CO2 and other gasses.

3. Stop using all forms of transportation except for human powered modes.

4. Stop using your computer, TV, phone, I Pod, video games, Air conditioning, heating etc....

Do all those things and guess what? The earth will still get warming and then cool off again

Basically just stop your whining and read up on weather cycles to grasp the concept that we have ice ages followed by periods of warming followed again by ice ages and so on

I worry about food prices rising up and healthy foods being even less affordable to the poor and needy...

What is your opinion of fuels possibly being made out of the parts of crops that we can't eat (i.e. corn cobs, banana peels, orange peels, apple cores) or the sun-spoiled crops that nobody can end up eating?

Any other ideas?
