Greetings,

The question I am posing is regarding Pollutant Standard Index (PSI) NOT Pound per Square Inch.
PSI is used to rate the air quality but are there any other definition other than this?
How is PSI calculated?

The 2nd question is,
how are Suspended Particulate (SP) and PSI related?
Are there theories or formulas which could connect them both?

The questions I posed are related to Environmental Studies.
I'll be looking forward to your replies.
If possible, references of sources to your answers would be a great help!

Thank you for taking your time to read and answering.

The Pollutant Standards Index, or PSI, provides a uniform system of measuring pollution levels for the major air pollutants. It is based on a scale devised by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) to provide a way for broadcasts and newspapers to report air quality on a daily basis.

The PSI is reported as a number on a scale of 0 to 500 and is the air quality indicator. These index figures enable the public to determine whether the air pollution levels in a particular location are good, unhealthy, hazardous or worse. The PSI is used in a number of countries including the United States and Singapore. However, since 1999, the United States EPA has replaced the Pollution Standards Index (PSI) with the Air Quality Index (AQI) to incorporate new PM2.5 and ozone standards.

I totally agree! I wonder if people like Psi Chi and Antis Suck and Victor Nunez notice that they ALWAYS get thumbs downs? People are ALWAYS disagreeing with them. Maybe they don't care. Illegal immigration has nothing to do with race. It is a LEGAL issue, PERIOD! We should not have 20 to 30 million illegal alien CRIMINALS in our country. They are criminals because they are breaking our laws. Amnesty rewards people for breaking our law. States are already having financial problems due to illegals (CA is going bankrupt, with Arnold's help). If the illegals became citizens it would be much worse. They would still not be paying taxes because they have low incomes. Only now they would get tax credits because of their low income (AKA free money from the taxpayer!)
