I'm curious to know what your opinion on global warming is and why you think that. I also want to know how many people would believe global warming if al gore hadn't made the movie about it.

Global warming is real and 80-90% caused by us.

Forget about Al Gore, the political nonsense and the "logical" arguments. Just look at the numbers and the science.

Most of the arguments can be answered simply by this. Yes, there have been natural climate changes before, mostly due to the Sun. But the data clearly shows that, starting about 40 years ago, man's contribution overwhelmed the natural forces that controlled climate before.

This is a nice picture, includes the effect of the Sun, and there are many more scientific studies showing the same thing.

None of the other explanations works nearly as well. The scientific equations don't work for them. The numbers come out wrong. Most questions are answered here:

I "believed" in global warming before I saw Al Gore's movie. Actually I still haven't seen it in full yet.

To me it just make sense. At least 95% of the scientist believs in this theory. The "greenhouse effect" is what makes our planet habitable and to increase the most important greenhouse gas CO2 with 35% compared to (high) pre industrial levels should logically raise the earth temperature, just like the scientists predicts.

I personally get the feeling that Americans are more skeptical about global warming than other people in most of the world. Not strange though with a president who've done all he can until lately denying the problem. Al Gore might have had a huge impact on the debate in America.

I could write a book about my views on global warming, but I wont. Instead, I would like to note that Al Gore isn't trying to become president.... haha. Whoever read that obviously isn't following presidential politics in the least. I just can't stand when people blow up about something that they are completely uneducated about.

Look around you. Look outside at the city skyline. Polution fills the skies almost everywhere you go. Now tell me that this pollution has no effect on our atmosphere. It is ludacris to think that. Polution is only getting worse with more and more fossil fuels being burned everyday. Global Warming is a very serious problem that needs to be addressed soon.

Now i haven't even seen Al Gore's movie but i consider myself fairly educated on this problem. Every year the population of polar bears drops dramatically. This is only one effect of Global Warming. Every day the water levels rise the smallest bit because of the ice caps melting away. If you saw a glacier 5 or 10 years ago i encourage you to go back to it and see it now. If it still even exists it will be dramatically smaller. Global Warming may be unstoppable but we have to try to stop it since we are who caused it.

Oh fun, the ice age. The Earth is like a big balloon in space. Do galaxies shrink or expand in a expanding universe? But the moon is moving farther away and it to is a balloon in space. Is the O zone just there so scientists can go oh know no? Is this the hots it will get? Getting closer to the sun rather that moving away from the sun can the ever move back to the original orbit? It is a natural phenomenon that occurs periodically throughout global history. My feeling about Al Gore is the same.

I knew about global warming and dimming before Gore said something. I believe it's here and it's real. And I'm afraid of whats coming, if we don't all change.

If you desire to obtain provide cash for local weather study, do you feel that you can get a cheque in case you say," I want the provide, as I feel that I can end up that the figures that the present paradigm is centered upon are incorrect" ? The best environmentalist, David Bellamy, has been silenced, and refused airtime. There remains to be no verified causative hyperlink among the volume of Co2 within the surroundings, and an broaden in worldwide temperatures. The WWWF graphics of the polar bears swimming had been taken within the Arctic summer season; while the ice cap partly melts, as they could not rise up to image within the wintry weather. The ice was once too thick! The East-Anglian uni study figures. "Oh! The figures do not fit our expectancies. Oh good. Keep quiet. Because we all know that we're proper." When the notion, and the religion is extra major than squarely going through the authentic doubts of plenty of non provide-supported scientists, technological know-how has been superceded through devout zealots. As Oliver Cromwell colourfully mentioned." I pray thee, within the bowels of Christ, recollect that thou mayest be incorrect."

Dont buy the lie!

They are just setting up for more taxes and restrictions!

ok for 1 remember the hole in the ozone layer(you cant put a hole in a gas for one)they changed the name to global warming
now the problem is that "global warming " is completely natural a simple math equation will solve global warming.
1. earth has an ice age every 150,000 years.
2. earths last ice age happened only 50,000 years ago
3. answer = a minimum of 25,000 years of NATURAL global warming before it starts cooling again. oh and as for the pollution thing have you seen pics. of California specifically San Francisco bay area in the early 1900 till 1980 you will hardly ever see any hills or mountains in the pictures why pollution back then was much much much worse then.
