If you know anything at all about your environment around you, (Which you should)...

Look around your yard, assuming you have lived there long enough to have noticed any trends in plant life. Have you noticed any of your plants doing anything out of the ordinary?

I have lived in my home town for 27 years. We are an agricultural community of fine wines. Believe me, we pay attention to the plant life.

All I know is that my cherry tree (And many in the community) bloomed two months earlier than they should have and... my hyacinth bulbs busted out the blooms around the same time. Wayyyyyy too early. They didn't "show" like they normally would have either. I mean, how do you look if you have to wake up earlier than planned? A little sleepy, eh?

Why is it that no one says anything about volcano's and the sulphur and gases they let off in the atmosphere, causing acid rain and creating a cloud that stays in the atmosphere for over three years and causing havoc beacuse of it. they do not say to much about this and also their nuclear test sites where they blow these things up underground this also causes a chain reaction in the earth creating earth quakes in other parts of the world. And what about airplanes that fly in the atmosphere, do you know that before a plane reaches its leveling off altitude it has dumped 20 to 35 percent of its raw fuel right out of its engines. look for the trail behind the plane.

With no T.H.C. in it,using hemp as in w.w.II days for rope. But utilizing it for particle board (10 times stronger than oak.) Ethanol produces more than corn does.Pellets for pellet stoves, could save on the deforestation of the land from firewood.Clothing, hemp oil, etc. It's insane that we could produce this for all of these financial and ecological reasons but don't!Why are they so against it?You can't get high off it,it has no t.h.c. it could be a huge farm crop.

Has anybody been struck with fear from the recent snow storm?
Could it be a natural omen or a random storm that could have been potentially worse?

Where I'm trying to go with this is why are there so many rnadom changes in weather conditions and what effects are they haveing, as well as what they could become.

For example: Say this April snow storm could have been slightly colder and longer, freezing many plants and other organisms acorss the continent that are incapable of withstanding winter weather in their spring prime?

Wether you're realistic about your answer (global warming....) or Sci Fi (tilting the ecosystem destroying almost that of the entire nation....), I'm curious to see what answers, logical and imaginitive, may come about.

I am curious to know if such a storm is possible enough to destroy so many flowers, all animals depending on it suffer and next years generation is never pollinated.

so the oceans raise a little and we lose a few animals. you people act as if animals have never been extinct because of natural occurances. this may supprise you, but animals who live in cold climates actually flourish when their environment gets warmer. the pipline in alaska is creating a boom in the carabu population because they enjoy the warmth. every animal on earth prefers warmth to cold. why do you think bears hibernate?

So I came across this http://www.stopdumbingdown.com/

So I tried watching some of the video but he talks too much and seemed to just bash scientists, and I wasn't interested in boring name calling.

I did look at one of the powerpoint things and he seems to blame it on water vapor, and the sun etc. It's still hard to read a lot of it because it's just so busy.

Some of the points seem interesting, but how much of it is conjecture and how much is actual science?

I'd like to hear actual supporting arguments for your points, not just yes or no answers. Thank you.

One of the biggest issues in today's news, Global Warming!

The world is changing, are we really ready to do what is necessary to try to stop the effects of this. Would you stop using your car to save endangered animals. Even Hollywood isn't that self rightious.
Would you stop working at your factory because of the smoke that is produced from running all the machines in that factory.
Would you plant your own garden, to save money and gas by doing this yourself. Plant a tree every year. Not only giving off oxygen but helping the environment.
What would you sacrfice to save Mother Earth?
What would you really give up? What are you ready to give up?
How would you help with this major issue?
Do you care about Mother Earth, and do you do things to help this situation now?

Lets be serious, this is a serious issue? Please no silly answers.
