When I went on Wikipedia, I looked up Global Cooling, and I saw a section of it about future Ice Ages, and saw that a Russian scientists expects the Earth to enter a new Little Ice Age around 2012-2015 and peak around 2055-2060. I also saw on the news in Miami that Dr. Grey said the warming of the Earth is from different ocean currents and should change in 5-10 yrs. from now and the Earth will start cooling naturally. The timeperiod, 2012-2015 is 5-10 yrs. from now. So, are we warming or are we going to be cooling?

What uses more gas: the air conditioner at full blast, or rolling the windows down when driving? The air rushing into the car slows it down, causing the car to need more gas to drive, but I still think the air conditioner uses more gas... My dad and I had a small argument about it, but I honestly have no clue which one uses more gas. Don't ask me why I'm asking this, I was just curious, especially after watching An Inconvenient Truth. ><

The scientific evidence of global warming is inconclusive. There is no solid proof that human activity has caused climate changes. Could it be that man-made global warming is is the greatest hoax ever perpetrated on the American people?

You figure if we use teleporters to get from point A to point be we wouldn't be using gas so it would release us from using foreign oil and we would also at the same time boost the economy because we would free up all that money that was spent on oil Geeze why doesn't our government think!!!

But I am trying to get the people at my work to bring in their own cups.. Our company supplies foam cups for coffee and water, and its such a waste.
I also take my own bags to the grocery store, I grab canvas totes at yard sales. I HATE those plastic grocery bags,.
I belong to "freecycle"..
I do wanna get more into the recycling mode. Stopped buying individual cup snacks for my grrls...

No what do you to to try to SAVE OUR PLANET???

I want to know if anyone else thinks that there are more important topics to worry about than the climate change of the planet.
According to the liberals who push global warming, the planet has been around for millions of years. What makes you think that the planet will suddenly stop taking care of itself? It's obviously made it this far!
Shouldn't we start caring more about the people on the planet, rather than how much toilet paper we use or what kind of car we drive or what type of lightbulb we use.
I know that I'm going to receive lots of backlash about this, but I don't care. There is nothing any of you can say or do that will make me change my opinion on this subject. I know I will come under a barrage of personal attacks, because that's all you know how to do, but again, I don't care.
I eat meat, drive a gasoline powered car, use incandescent light, mow the lawn on ozone alert days, and use as much toilet paper as I darn well please.
Anyone else think it's ridiculous?

Forests are being clear-cut to make room for farming corn and palm oil.

Compact flourescent light bulbs are filled with very dangerous chemicals such as mercury, contain a lot of plastic (made from oil), and use more energy to make.

Ethenol emissions from vehicles have been found to be very bad for your health. There are simular concerns about biodiesel, but those studies are still ongoing.

The batteries in hybrid cars are filled with dangerous chemicals that we cant fingure out what to do with.

Our intentions are good... but it seams like we are doing more harm then good with our current environmental movement.

Should we go back to good, clean unleaded gasoline and incadescent lightbulbs?
