what an arrogant Christian question
as if Humans are the only things alive that count .
this question should be reported for exstreme rascism against the animal populations .
the forrest are full of beings who can smell see and hear ,much better than Humans can
go stand in the corner

If noise is defined by air vibrating within certain
frequencies, sure.
If noise is defined BY SOMEBODY HEARING IT, no.
However, I have never heard anyone use the latter
definition other than when asking this very question.
Of course it makes a noise.

My wife likes this variation:
If a man speaks in the forest and there is no woman around to hear him, is he still wrong?
Ha!

Yes. Noise exists whether there is a hearer or not. Air waves carry the sound across the vicinity. Only is outer space is it soundless.
