water or electricity?

One person leaves TV's on around the house
but says that running water costs more.

electricity is much more expensive -- the water bill is never as high as the electric bill!

Well, at my house it would be the TV, because I haver a well. But In town, the water bills run about $30 a month--which is pretty close to most electric bills unless the heat is electric--or you're running the AC.


I guess I don't really know, without having more details.

The constant blathering of the TV would drive me NUTS, though!

depends on where you live. Here in Costa Rica the monthly water bill for a house with 2 people is around $6, Electricity is around $45

If you ask me personally, I think that in the world we live in, wasting water is a lot worse than electricity. Even if the monetary cost is less.

I think that water costs more. Electricity is usually cheaper.
