Are bats protected where you live in North
America?

I see them once in a while, but I see the trucks
out spraying for mosquitos a lot more often.

The same volcanic eruptions that sundered Greenland from Western Europe and created Iceland also triggered intense global warming 55 million years ago, scientists say.

“There has been evidence in the marine record of this period of global warming, and evidence in the geologic record of the eruptions at roughly the same time,” said study team member Robert Duncan, an oceanic scientist at Oregon State University, “but until now there has been no direct link between the two.”

There are rumors that planet mars once was a living planet. According to these gossips, there are creatures that live and cultivate land on Mars like what we do here on Earth. That creatures and all the living things died because of collapsion of the magnetic field of the planet which protect Mars from the dangerous effects of solar storm. Predominantly speaking, solar storm (comes from the Sun) is very dangerous-- it will kill any thing it encounters. The magnetic field of the planets serves as the protection against that solar storm. So, because of the collapsion of the magnetic field, all the living things and even non-living things in the vicinity of the planet fried. That is why, according to the rumors, planet Mars is entirely red in appearance but I do not think so... The reason why planet Mars appears red is that its atmosphere is filled with a large quantity of Carbon dioxide with relatively small amount of Oxygen... Well, we can hardly live there if there is no oxygen..

Now that it has been suggested that some swans were flying around in circles around a church spire due to their navigation being affected by a mobile phone mast,

when the change over to digital tv comes into force,, surely it will have a negative effect on the birds navigation systems, and lead to some species demise. possible extinction,, and also the cycles of nature would have a roll on effect, if the birds start dying due to them not being able to navigate to breeding and feeding areas. the insects species will rise, so therefore the spread of some diseases will increase. the plants species will also suffer.

bit long winded, but iam sure the inteligent people here will get the drift..

Is it worth the disastrous effect, so we can watch propoganda news programs and the other rubbish that we must pay a licence for?

Or does the human species have no thought of its effects on the very planet its own survival depends upon also??

It has long been stated that what caused the ice age was volcanic smoke in the air which filtered out the sun light and made things cooler. So alongs comes The E P A and puts in a no burn ban and takes out what smoke that there was in the air letting in more sun light which is making things hotter and letting in more cancer rays, and to compound the problem the things which should have been burned is now rotting and giving off methane gas which causes more global warming. So all we need to do is go back to burning our leaves and trash to stop global warming. Note signs of global warming started with the burn ban.

I read that there is exactly the same amount of water on the Earth today that there was when the world was born. The writer claimed that the Earth is in effect a sealed ball .So what ever water was in the "ball" can not escape and no more can be added .This means that, in one form or another , there is still the same amount of water on the planet as when it all began...can anyone explain this theory or is it crap.
