I see them once in a while, but I see the trucks
out spraying for mosquitos a lot more often.

seriously, we have bats around here (central Mississippi). They are not an endangered species and are not on any lists for protection.

We have trucks that spray too. But only because the risk of mosquito born illness (west nile) to humans outweighs the risks of killing bats by taking away their food supply.
